I plan on putting a couple of these babies on my fish tank, the humidity is perfect and I also read golden pathos loves this as well. I haven't done it yet but should be interesting. Time to get some orchids, haha.
I had an old olive tree that I cut down, due to injuries I couldn't pick olives any more, so once I cut it down I kept the off cuts of the tree and now I am using to mount my phalonopsis orchids what I did though I blasted the logs with a blow torch I let it catch fire to burn slowly this way there was no earwigs or spiders or any other little bugs that may have found a home in between the cracks of the logs where it split on its own but also created a natural burning charcol to feed and protect the roots from pest and keeps the orchid healthy with burned log how much more natural can you get from a partly burned log. It's a start for me am a newbie at this as well with orchids.
Produce comes in mesh bags.. save them for lining wooden slat pots & holding orchids to mounts. Listen to the entire video, she addresses that toward the end.
Best educational video hands down! Thank you!
Beautiful 🌺. I’m just starting my orchid collection, and I’m going to mount orchids once winter is over. It’s too cold right now. Their all beautiful🌺

Beautiful!!! Very nice !!!
Can I use stocking or pantyhose instead of netting? What did you use to tie onto the wood?
Those are some healthy phals
What is the mesh material you are using to wrap the orchid to the wood?
