I tried to find the 2nd bin option but it appears it is only available for people using a business version and not a personal one. Restoring to previous versions hasnt helped and I'm beginning to fear that my photos are lost forever. Any help would be appreciated!

I had tons of family pictures, writing etc on my ext. hard drive and now it's completely empty. I never gave permission for One Drive to even be here...WTF?
I deleted a whole folder from OneDrive online by mistake. Then I went back to restore it. However, the folder appeared back but it is empty. The documents also appeared but they are not showing in the original folder. What can I do now? It is still less that 30 days.
Hi there, thank you for your question! Since it's been less than 30 days, you can restore the deleted folder and its contents from the OneDrive recycle bin. Go to the OneDrive website, navigate to the Recycle Bin on the left, and check if the folder and files are listed there. If they are, select them and click Restore. Also, check the Deleted Files or Recent Activity sections in case the documents are listed separately. If you're using the OneDrive desktop app, you might be able to restore earlier versions of files or folders by right-clicking on the folder or file and selecting Version History.
This all by design to take you data and put unto their systems. Now everything is gone off of my laptop. The beginning: Upon restarting my computer a giant white screen with a Onedrive prompt stops my computer from booting up normally to my log in. Everything has a small red circle X next to it. One file item has a blue recycle symbol. All of my files have been hijacked by Onedrive.
What should I do if my photos are in onedrive and I deleted all my photos from the trash and my onedrive is not synced with my computer and I try to use anyrecover but it only shows the photos I have on my computer?

Hi there, thank you for your question! If you encounter the issue of not being able to restore a folder from your OneDrive Recycle Bin, try waiting for a while as the restoration process may take time, clear your browser cache, switch to a different browser or device, ensure you are using the "Recycle Bin" section on the official OneDrive website, and consider emptying the Recycle Bin before attempting the restoration again. If the problem persists, it's best to contact OneDrive Support for further assistance.
My recycle bin keeps up showing empty, but a fraction of a second the files were there. Now they don't show anymore (on android) and the second stage recycle bin option does not show up. any idea?
Hi there, thank you for your question! Have you tried using a specialized file recovery app from the Google Play Store, such as Dr.Fone , to scan and recover deleted files. Alternatively, check if your device has a built-in file explorer or file manager app with a "Trash" or "Recycle Bin" section where deleted files might be stored. If so, you can restore them from there. Additionally, navigate to your device's storage settings and ensure that the recycle bin feature is enabled. If you recently installed a third-party file manager or cleaning app, it might have affected the recycle bin's behavior, so uninstalling that app could help. Finally, check for any available system updates as they may address the issue.
@@RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware I have tried every possibility and continued to search online for solutions. Came to a conclusion what happend when comparing my situation to a few others. The autosave function in Onedrive does not always work well, especially when there is a synching error (which on itself is not an issur). Combined they lead to documents saving, but not actually saving to onedrive. Once you close, force close or open another document on a device (in my case, an android tablet) it saves the last time you edited the file, or so it SHOULD work. Apparently the autosave-synching error combination gives some unique situations, where parts of your edited work are gone. Say you force close a file, open it and you lost a weeks worth of the file (like me). The last edited version (version history) is from a week ago, meaning the newer versions don't exist and never existed. This also leads to no recovery, since it never got deleted or treated as unsaved. It never existed according to onedrive, so nothing applies to the document.
