I remember when they cut away and the announcers being shook and realizing it wasn’t part of the show... Owen along with Michael’s and Tatanka and Bret were my favorite wrestlers in the early nineties... and I went to a house show where I made a sign for Owen when he was feuding with Bret and supposed to be the heel... and I remember going downstairs and telling my father I think Owen had just died in the ring... and he was like “it’s not real”... he had had to explain to me Wrestling was just an entertainment show that wasn’t real back when Tatanka turned heel and joined the million dollar man I was brought to hysterical tears because at that time he was my favorite. So I knew at this time when Owen died it mostly wasn’t real and I was like “no he was coming down from the ceiling and fell... they cut away from the ring. I’m pretty sure this is real” and I could tell he agreed when he turned it on downstairs and saw how they were covering it. He was like is that the guy you made the sign for when we went to that show a few years back?” Loved them. Sad they aren’t around to interact and be part of AEW... and be truly honored for all the entertainment they brought us. I dont wish opiate or benzo withdrawal on my worst enemy.
Real Shit
A guy who is nothing like his character. The only simularity is the french heritage.
Chris did u really not know that the wrestlers have been dieing from opioid overdoses?
Andrew Martin dying hit me really hard. He was one of my favorites. Damn shame. Honestly though if i had easy access to Oxys id be an addict easy. Shit is dangerous.
Ionno I was able to get off opioids but I did fall the fuck off like allllll the way off but I woke up one morning and said fuck this get your shit together
Rene with the penjamin!
Amazing
Met Rene at a gym during his feud with John Cena for the US Title.
Wasn’t a nice guy. Very arrogant. Seems like he may have changed since then though.
He probably was in kayfabe
@@Highrollinhunter it was 2am in a 24 hour gym in his hometown. He wasn’t in character.
@@DW3010he was very green and young perhaps the success went to his head, Sorry for my bad english
@@michelebrienza98 yeah for sure. Like I said it was a long time ago. 😃
One thing you can take from sports and wrestling. Big men dpnt live long. P.e.d eating thousands of calories and masking injuries with opoids kills. Average nfl player dies at 58.
Rene was soooo freaking hot
Is he hitting a dab pen?
I really think this guy should give aw a try
He Is more of a WWE guy in my opinion
He definitely Wrestled after Benoit croaked!
I had a chronic condition and wass resdy to shoot. Myself when i was cut off from morphine

He can’t blame wrestling on opioid deaths - it was happening ALLLLLL OVER America regardless of what career you were in
