Very nice.I owned a Mk1 (X reg) and a Mk2 ( E reg) in silver. If I could have one of them back it would be the Mk1 as they looked the part and handled better imo.
I had 2 XR2s. The First one was moonstone blue & it was pretty much standard. The second car was a darker grey, black bumpers with a blue stripe. Windows was so dark it was a police pull 😂 Car was siting on RS1600 alloys, lowered using spax suspension. The car was so low the wheel arches lip was rolled out to stop rubbing. Had a scorpion exhaust straight pipe to the manifold. Kent cams & a K&N carb bolt on air filter. It was very nippy, darty & very noisy loud 😂 A sick fun little car
Somebody's tucked that up in bed every night. And only driven it on overcast but dry days. I nearly bought a blue one in 89, but hung on for a Mk.3 1.6S instead. The insurance for a 21yo would've cost a fortune.
What a gem! Looks and sounds just the way XR2's did back in the 90's👌
Lovely car, respect to the owner who looked after it
My first company car was an 18 month old XR2 back in 1987! Great motor! 😀
I had a silver one and a blue one back in the early 90s gutted I didn't keep one but we all say that. Lovely example....
one of the cleanest XR2’s I’ve ever seen kidd she’s quality the boyz 💯💪🏻

That black around the windows should be matt not gloss. They must of done a good job respraying the car in the silver.
