These are all so beautiful! I love the hang tags! I need to take some time and make up a bunch of them. That Bible cover! 😍What a treasure that must be to have your mama’s bible! I’ve been thinking lately that I wish I had my mom’s bible. When my mom passed away, I was told that I could could go through her things and take anything I wanted. But I just couldn’t do it! I didn’t want my mom’s things. I wanted her. 😢I do find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and that I will see her again one day. Mother’s Day is always the hardest for me and she has been gone for many years. Thanks for sharing! I wish you a happy Mother’s Day, Becky! 😊
Thank you Tina! I like to keep lots of tags on hand and they are such fun to make. My mom had several different Bibles, so my sisters and I all have one. I also received all of the supplies in her craft room and use them to make things for my sisters. Losing my mom 15 years ago is still the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. Oh, Becky! I absolutely loved the flower frog and Bible cover! I actually have a vase I purchased those metal flower frog lids that didn't fit so I'd been using tape to keep my florals upright! 😂 I know now what to do! I do love the idea of covering my mother's Bible to make it even more special. I inherited all her doilies and wasn't happy about keeping all of them hidden in a trunk. My sisters might blow a gasket but I know for a fact that their intentions are to keep the doilies in a box under their beds because I've seen that already. Your idea will certainly put them to use! I just love it! Love it! Love! It! I'm all over that idea!
Thank you Ema! I only had the small wire flower frog for mason jars but decided to make one for my larger vase. I still have lots of my mom’s doilies that I use under candles and other decor items now, but I used to keep them in a box and it just made me sad. Hopefully your sisters can keep it together when they see how lovely your Bible cover turns out!
