This is epic! I love the microfreak and often paid it with the Model:Samples. I’d love to try the Volca line though. This was a really cool way to use the sequencer.
@@synthsforbreakfast I haven’t made any with both yet. I did have one with just the samples but last year I transitioned my channel to only art. (Before it was art and music) maybe I’ll make one and send it your way. I haven’t had a lot of luck syncing them. The samples is confusing sometimes!
i love how you keep triggering the first drum step when you hit a key.. the pauses are awesome. Also this track is something id at to my music library. it gives me an early industrial music vibe. not too early but you know what i mean. Cheers! Its amazing what you can do with just two pieces of small hardware. Sounds XL. Ive been exploring my Microfreaks sequencer in depth lately. I love that i can set a different oscillator to each step. Its makes it so much fun with the right intention and sounds amazing! They did such an amazing job with this synth especially for those like me that cant afford a $10,000 unit. lol.
Oh I love this. I have Volcas and the microfreak how do I connect the two so they are synced like that !! Thanks so much. You know I just love your music !!
Hey Maria, nice to see you here. The connection is MIDI OUT of the MciroFreak to MIDI IN of the Volca Drum. If you then activate the Sequenzer on the MF but not press play you can "play the sequence" if you press a note. I did a video about that th-cam.com/video/qx45gJRtpA4/w-d-xo.html. And if you then activate the scale function it transpose the sequences in a hormisied way. This Video: th-cam.com/video/YYqZArO3R3U/w-d-xo.html
Very nice! I really enjoy your jams! They seem so simple but sound really full and interesting! Are you using scale function on the MF to transpose the sequence? And does the sequence start over every time you hit a different key? Or it doesn't if you keep pressed one key and just hit another one?
The complete Tutorial is in the answer on I gave to Maria's Feedback. But Yes I used the scale function but AFTER buildung the sequence and the sequence starts everytime you press a note, correct.
Thanks for your feedback. Appreciate your trust in me to answer your question. But hey I am just a guy. No pro. But it's important to know that the drum and the microfreak are mono devices. The output signal of the MS 70 is stereo. Don't know the Komplete audio 1... Is it an audio interface? So the best way if this is right is to connect the microfreak to the ms 70 and the drum directly to the "audio interface". Later its maybe better for you to get a mixed..
@@Volcaniced you are an experienced guy, so I trust you) Komplete audio 1 is an audio interface. It has one xlr input and one line input. Should an audio interface have two line inputs to accept a stereo signal?
Great jam! I was so confused when you did the MIDI-controls-the-Volca thing the first time 😅 I was looking for the hidden foot pedals! Great idea 🤩
Now that sounds great! Thank You from Frisco, TX
Love the lush reverb, and all the great sounds you get out of these things.
so cool
Good one 😎😍😎
Nice tricks, nice beats.
I really like how you have these synced. Nice work!
Cool! Some clever tricks!
yeah there are a lot inside of this little freak
Good work Bro! Greets👊
thx :)
Love the rhythm in this.
Thank you so much 🥰
I really love the spacy sounds, and the sounds of the drums. Always enjoying your jams!
thank you conrad :)

The Volca boxes are great.
Each one has it's own unique character.
Great! Do you have any videos? I also have the MF and the M:S and it would be cool to see how you pair them!

@@DannySabraArt do you want to sync the Microfreak to the Model:Samples? Or viceversa?
@@synthsforbreakfast thats a good question. What are the benefits of either way?

Killer jam, would be at home in a 3rd person shooter. Has a great dark atmosphere
great ... I have to test this with GTA Online ... never play games while hearing my music :)

@@Volcaniced and I just checked volca drum specs - it says that it has 3.5mm stereo mini jack output. Doesn't that mean that it can send stereo?

@@Volcaniced oh, so in order to record stereo I have to get an audio interface with more inputs? Komplete audio 6 for example?
