There are creepy moustaches, then there's this gentlemen that somehow as you said commands respect and authority with it, and boy does he pull it of. Very manly might I say
He’s clearly in charge as he has the most commanding moustache
so much of his authority is derived from the power of his mustache
Hadfield is such a charming and personable guy-he communicated so well, was so straightforward and human.
I love it that he's a so much...down to earth person.
Of course now that he's retired it's unavoidable, but I have the feeling that he was as cool as now when he was an active astronaut too.

I had to stop myself from punching the computer screen. The only reason my monitor still works is that it switched to a picture of Commander Hadfield, and there is no way that I could punch somebody as awesome as that.

It’s not really a burn… he’s there doing a very different role to her. He’s there to be interviewed she’s there to be the interviewer. Presumably after this he’s off to do something else, maybe even put his feet up, while she probs carries on working
She doesn't know he did other music activities, including other songs with kids on earth, which was what he was ACTUALLY talking about, she doesn't know the name of 'Space Oddity', what preparation did she do for this interview...?
