Thank you all so much for the kind words and for watching! Really really appreciate every single one of you! ❤ I'm seeing all the comments saying this should be a series and I'm working on it!!
No joke, felt like I was back in 1995! So ‘natural’ ‘free’ ‘warm’ and ‘earthy’ - you MUST interview/interact with him again but for longer. Same format, same camera same everything- don’t change a thing!
"Everything else is just noise" *trumpet starts playing* Love how you kept the interview very respectful and asked thoughtful questions and just let him speak without interrupting
What a gem this guy is. Spontaneous interview in the park right before a rehearsal and he's calm, focused, thoughtful, and kind. And then surprise Dutch skills?? Kudos to you for taking your shot for the interview.
I’m so impressed that you managed to ask him better questions than most interviewerrs without any preparation whatsoever. Well done, this was wonderful 👏
Doesn't surprise me that Chris agreed to the interview. He always seems like such a genuinely nice person. He's one of only a handful of recording artists/actors that I'd like to meet.
I'm just being silly by saying that he speaks North American as well as English, as if it where a different language, which of course it isn't. 🙈 I have failed in my attempt to be funny.
This is an excellent, real, uncontrived interview. Brilliant questions. Chris Martin is rare. I love the gentleness of his voice and the depth in his answers. There is an authenticity that he brings into everything. I love that he took pleasure in seeing a black squirrel scamper up a tree. There’s nothing ostentatious about him. He’s Chris Martin. He’s in a band. He likes to write and sing. He likes to walk. He thinks the world should be a loving place. Sagid…well done. Thank you for sharing this with us.
He was spotted just getting off a train and photo bombed him, said hello, went on his way he just is normal...love him and the band...good catch girl! If you don't ask you don't get..loved your mini interview..
@@FSHB can’t argue with Grandiose delusional disorder so far off of reality. pulling people down rather than lifting them up will get you far, i’m sure of that …not!
I love the rawness of the video. It has "first ever TH-cam video" vibes and that says something about yourselves and Chris Martin; everyone involved in this is pure and authentic. I was shocked to find this happened four days ago and not a decade ago at least. Great job, guys.
Gem of a guy and that’s why people love Coldplay. Irrespective of what opinion one may have for their music, they always try to spread kindness. That’s the most beautiful thing about them.
such a refreshing format, the spontaneity of the interview in a park feels very humanizing. especially since he took time out of his day to sit and chat
I love that with just 5 minutes you managed to think of awesome original questions and were able to just let it flow into a wholesome moment, amazing job! ❤
I love your confidence. Most would be starstruck and unable to even compose a thought in their head, but you went and did an improv interview with a high calibre musician. You should be proud of yourself! I hope to see more content from you, particularly an interview series!
I was afraid to watch this video because I hate people who approach stars on the street when they're “off duty”, but you were so respectful, kind, and your questions were relevant (more relevant than some asked in formal interviews 😂). Good luck in your career, I wish you all the best!
You were so natural, no nervousness showing at all, like every day thing happening. What a delightful video clip. Congratulations from the UK. Chris Martin is an amazing song writer, frontman of the best most popular band right now, and takes life with very humble attitude.
I THOUGHT he said ellebogen but it didn’t make sense to me. I thought he mispronounced Oorbellen (earrings) somehow that made more sense to me haha. Thank you for clearing that up!
He is so down to earth and accommodating of his time! And you are very courageous in trying your luck at interviewing him. What a chance of a lifetime!
I love the sort of lo-fi 2007-2008 youtube vibe, no fancy camera, no fancy editing, no mics, the band in the background is kind of louder that you two... but for some reason it works so well 😂❤
Sagid, this was really special. Thanks so much for listening to your inner voice and running after him. Then sharing it with us. It was lovely to watch. Very best wishes to you. Adam (Sheffield, UK)
That was a moment that happened! I have never seen a black squirrel before, and Chris is talking about noise then the music starts and plays over them the rest of the video. It’s a great moment that I really like sharing in as a viewer. 😊❤
You listened & that gave Chris time to talk...a lot of folks pepper an artist w/questions...so this showed Chris being Chris in this particular situation, & that was wonderful. I enjoyed how you engaged him. Thanks for asking for the interview➡that was you being you❣
You made my day! I just love Chris Martin, he's so natural, sincere, modest and insightful. And I love his music and hope to watch him at Wembley Stadium next year with my daughter and granddaughter - three generations of Coldplay fans! (aged 77, 49 and 18) Thank you! 🥰
Love this, great interview. I kind of hope it doesn't spark a trend though, I can't imagine how difficult it must be to do a world tour and how constantly tired you must be. I hope it doesn't become an expectation that musicians stop and talk to everyone they see. I really love how conscientious and respectful of Chris's time you were.
This is one of the most heartwarming videos I’ve watched in a while. Just two people connecting on a human level. Chris seems like such a genuine guy, we need more good-natured people like him. What a lovely interview, I’m glad you mustered the courage to ask him! I wish you well!🤍
What an incredibly *nice man Chris is; always having time for people - just five minutes of his time made all the difference for you both. He has also allowed on stage to play the keyboards too. Way, way back in November year 2000, I had a job interview at BBC Radio 2, as their Music Administrator. At the job interview, I was asked by the panel interviewers what new bands I would recommend, and, straight away I said: "Coldplay, because they're going places." And, now look where Coldplay are now all these years later.
This is absolutely amazing, you may never know when the opportunity comes to meet someone extraordinary. With an open mind, honesty and mutual respect, world seems like such a wonderful place to be in. I loved your interview, questions you asked, the tranquility of the moment, the humble camcorder. Thank you so much for sharing such a cool moment, hope you continue to grow, be well and good luck.
One of my favourite videos I’ve ever seen in my life. Just brought up so much hope and childlike love in me. Maybe it’s the camcorder vibes too, but it helped me to remember that ‘anything is possible’ belief we all had as a child. And also Coldplay is just such an iconic part of my growing up too. Thank you. Subscribed. Haha
Brilliant! Just that soul level connection walking around in the flow and attuned to what feels yes. Totally pure and authentic and present. My kinda synchronicity. Thank you all! Keep up the synergy...

Same energy, same vibe, much love and peace in this video. Loved it. ❤ congrats for hearing your inner voice and shoot your shot, we need more of that like a Chris said, it’s noisy out there. That was supposed to happened... just-like-that. Like damn, last day in NY, you go to the right park, sit in the right bench at the right time, you asked him for the interview after he casually ask you about what you were doing, they figure out a way to do it with no zoom needed, Phil turns to the camera exactly in the right moment and you even got live background music 😂 and Chris at the end with the compliment in your language... wow!
This video reminds me of “me at the zoo” and the early days of TH-cam. The spontaneity of this interview and lack of excessive cuts and graphics/effects make this feel like such a breath of fresh air.
Beautiful interview. You both took a chance and communicated, and you got a bonus with the incredible music playing in the background. Life is Magic! Just step into it. Intuition is a gift from the cosmos.

Oh such an amazing short interview. And lucky you! Also Chris is so lucky to have such an amazing interview, short yet full. He seems to have a beautiful soul.

Truly speechless seeing such an amazing and wonderful interaction, how crazy is it that you were in the right place at the perfect moment. You were great and you did a beautiful interview.
I've been struggling with the exact thing lately, deciding whether to channel the external 'noise', suffering when they sometimes drive me to a place of negativity, while also well aware that estranging myself as an artist could be detrimental in terms of creative progress. Chris's dialogue about listening to your inner voice is powerful and so straightforward. Just like in the other interview, based on my memory, where he encouraged people to focus on doing what they believe is the right thing to do, to keep spreading love and following morals. Thank you for capturing this beautiful moment of exchange, and thank you for reminding me of what I should try to do. In the world where hatred generates so much noise, I wish that heartwarming words like these could protrude right through and shine brighter.
