@@zakcolburn Nah this is the best boss theme I have ever heard. Sonically it is composed so well, which is crazy cause most of this game's soundtrack lacks and kind of musical structure and is mostly ambient.
I honestly kind of like Gandryada. Plus, her fight was by far more difficult and fun than those of Rundas and Gohr. So she is my favorite out of the three.

I think a Metroid Prime form would work well, especially since you now have the x-ray visor, i would’ve liked that along with how it’s utilized in the normal fight

She was a pretty cool boss. I like not having to do just the some thing over and over again since she could shapeshift. It scared the crap out of me when she pounced on me. That was awesome.
Killing the bounty hunters got more and more pleasing with each one. Rundus saved Samus's life several times, even once when he was evil. Killing him was sad. Ghor saved her life several times too, but he also caused a whole lot of trouble on Skytown. Killing him was still slightly sad, but he needed to die. Gandrayda, though, I wanted to kill her even before she became evil.

First track on the OST that I like.... man why is older metroid music so much better, the snes games had such catchy tunes. Now its just atmospheric choir ppl humming. No hate towards ppl who like it
Is there a reason almost EVERYBODY has a cut version of this battle theme? The start is missing! /watch?v=Ex7iu9boz6U for example has it. Your channel is epic but I'm just wondering why so many people lack these first seconds.
Gandrayda always annoyed me, then I found out I had to fight her and I was like "Your dead now!" and the songs whistle noises make it a repetitive song but what ever -_-
Gandrayda was easily the most annoying hunter in this game. Calling Samus by a childish nickname and wisecracking all the time are terrible moves in making a humanoid character in a Metroid game, but she did have an interesting boss fight and a pretty awesome theme. It's too bad she had such a lame power-up, though. I imagined something a lot more interesting.
Because the only time you ever need to use it is to open doors, and then to use the Hyper version, which is also only used to open doors, only they're thinly disguised as enemies. Using it in combat is entirely optional and not really optimal compared to Hyper Mode, or really any other weapon. Her draining health from things isn't even an obvious element of her character and only comes through in the boss fight itself. The most obvious power she has is copying things, so anyone would have guessed the power-up would have something to do with that.
Oof. I remember this fight on Hyper Mode is about 25-30 minutes long, at least for me lol. I got her on my first try, but it was really hard to get some damage in if I recall correctly.

Advice: get real WiiMote + Nunchuck + sensor bar for emulator. It allows to bypass loads of problems in games and play them mostly as intended.
