Say anything you want but this is one of the best tracks in the trilogy, atmospheric music isn't limited to soft and sombreness, this is a great example of it.
def embodies the collapse of the mighty reptilicus civilization on bryyo. Ngl the prime trilogy lore is incredible and I hope with prime ones remastery we will see nintendo give their best scifi shooter IP some love
Prime 3 smoked 1 imo, not only because of it's revolutionary mind blowing Wii remote IR pointer(When set to advanced) & Nunchuck controls, but because the atmosphere was more uplifting and up-beat, Vs the sulking gloomy and eerie depressing music that originated from Prime 1. And i actually liked it that Samus wasn't alone this time around, you didn't feel as isolated.
The music is what made the games so immersive. That is one of the reasons why many come back to play it. Of course the gameplay is fun and the story is interesting, but the themes are amazing..... *Torvus bog* = (calming, filled with tranquility but mysterious as well), *Bryyo* = (raw and thunderous), *Elysia* = (mystical, celestial, divine), *Sanctuary Fortress* = (twisted, abstract, complex), *Phazon Mines/Pirate Homeworld* = (terrifying, spooky, gloomy) and so forth........ Every scenery has it's own piece of music that really demonstrate what the place is about, the race that inhabited there, the story, the narration through each corridor.. That is one of the main reasons the Prime Series was so incredible.
Noah Prestage Thanks Noah. Really appreaciate the compliment. Did you hear about the new metroid game called AM2R? If not, search for it on google and dowload it. It's for pc. It is a remake of Metroid 2 and it's fan-made game
Before this comment section: "I really like this piece because of the dramatic and heavy atmosphere it sets for a forgotten temple of a fallen empire." After this comment section: "POUNDS AND POUNDS OF BEEF, AND POUNDS AND POUNDS AND POUNDS OF BEEF"
There are far to many remix in this game, and the new track are... So so. Bryoo main is pretty good, but suspiciouly similar to "Great temple main theme", from Echoes.
Oh man, bionicle was my child hood. And yes, it would’ve been perfect. Rip Bionicle. It died after the Glatorian came out imo. No, the reboot doesn't exist.
@@Galaxia_EX I heard that Bionicle drew a *lot* of inspiration from traditional Polynesian cultures; that'd make it the last thing inspired by those cultures that saw *mainstream* success.
As a whole I don't like Corruption's soundtrack that much, but that music is awesome, and combine with the history of this world it makes it my favorite planete of Prime 3 by far. In general, this section of Bryoo feels like what Great temple &temple grounds in Echoes should have been.
Everyone hearing "pounds of beef" is no different than hearing Homer Simpson chant "get a job" during the battle theme for Beast Ganon in The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
This is more bombastic, Magmoor is more tenebrous and bloomy. This elaborates how the reptilicans were almost gods and how they were proud of their planet. Magmoor is more about the dangers of fire underneath the surface of Tallon IV. So yes, much more intense.
samy29987 I agree. This soundtrack here is WAY more intense and it really tells a little story just with music. One of the many reasons I love Corruption.
Anyone here from Zesty Jesus' TF2 bot video? It makes sense that he would use this song for the intro, he's got pounds and pounds of beef with the bot hosters.
On a Metroid music binge now that we have gotten a glimpse at Prime 4.
Say anything you want but this is one of the best tracks in the trilogy, atmospheric music isn't limited to soft and sombreness, this is a great example of it.
RIP to that dope reptilian race that was on the verge of a tech renaissance when the phason landed on bryyo

It's music from this game that gets me to go back, grab my metroid prime trilogy game, and reply every game. I just can't get enough of metroid

samy29987 That has to be one of the more beautiful and colorful comments I have seen. You couldn't be more correct!
Noah Prestage Thanks Noah. Really appreaciate the compliment. Did you hear about the new metroid game called AM2R? If not, search for it on google and dowload it. It's for pc. It is a remake of Metroid 2 and it's fan-made game
Noah Prestage I hear prime 4 is coming
jsut the title theme of trilogy is enough to set me off. i didn't even finish prime 2.
the struggle to turn on/not turn off wii is strong.
Pounds and pounds of beef, and pounds and pounds and pounds of beef...
what has that got to do with the theme?
samy29987 That's what the lyrics sound like
Reece LaBarbera Oh cool, now i got it.. haha
+Planr The Cable Guy : What is heard can not be unheard XD
YOU RUINED IT
Before this comment section:
"I really like this piece because of the dramatic and heavy atmosphere it sets for a forgotten temple of a fallen empire."
After this comment section:
"POUNDS AND POUNDS OF BEEF, AND POUNDS AND POUNDS AND POUNDS OF BEEF"
Doesn't sound like that at all
Now I cannot unhear it! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa
arguably one of the best songs in the series
Aside from all the Jokes about the lyrics, this song just threw me right in like, this is where the fun begins!
I love the panic in Samus's animation when she turns to rush to Bryyo after talking with the Aurora Unit, she knows EXACTLY what's up
Now i Understand why I wanted "pounds and pounds of Beef" for dinner after playing this game xD
Don't get it?
Dang this game has such epic music
The whole trilogy has! That is one of the various reasons it is so amazing.
Can you still get the trilogy set on Wii?
Louis Ayers i've found it used for 40ish at gamestop. But you can get it as a digital download on the wii u eshop for 20.
I'm not sure if I should get a Wii U aha so i'll decide soon enough, cheers!
I don't know what SomecallmeJohnny was saying when he said the music for this game wasn't memorable
He can be a bit full of shit sometimes. Like the time he praised Other M and excused Star Fox Zero.
i means that's his opinion. can't knock him for his opinion. i was just saying to me, Prime 3's soundtrack is pretty memorable.
Ike Santiago Especially the main theme
There are far to many remix in this game, and the new track are... So so.
Bryoo main is pretty good, but suspiciouly similar to "Great temple main theme", from Echoes.
Rundas, gandrayda, skytown, the main theme and the credits theme are amazing
See, everyone here keeps saying pounds of beef but I heard “bowser’s feet” and I still hear it
So much beef! Pounds and pounds of it! XD
lol
For all you BIONICLE fans out there, this song would ROCK as the background music for Po-Wahi.
Felix Aglon "In a time before Time..." 🤣
So true...
Oh man, bionicle was my child hood. And yes, it would’ve been perfect. Rip Bionicle. It died after the Glatorian came out imo.
No, the reboot doesn't exist.

Came for the epic theme
Stayed for the pounds of beef
Reminds me of Star Wars Republic Commando
That game was underrated as hell
All I hear is "pounds and pounds of beef, and pounds and pounds of beef"
Can't unhear...
+Ivan Martinez (ThatKawaiiGuy) LOL Noooo the song will never sound the same.
I rented this game from a Movie Gallery so many times when it came out before I just bought it lmao
The place where Samus Aran is 10% corrupted and can use Hyper Mode at will without risking of entering corrupted state.
Until...

I love the tragic history of this world
Favorite game of all time. ever. so fucking amazing.
Someone should add subtitles, it needs more beef, like, pounds of it...
this world was adventurous
Has a Kraid's lair vibe from zero mission
still a masterpiece
I remember when I used to hear this music always - after Samus arrives in this world.
“Pounds and pounds of cheese, pounds and pounds of cheese”
*background singers*
“Yayayayayayayayayayayayay”
The most memorable music from the game!
Well hey, even the creatures at bryyo gotta eat too.
ARBYS WE HAVE THE MEAT
POUNDS AND POUNDS OF IT
@@SirYodaJedi yes
this game is one of the best i've ever played
Rundas T.T
Everyone hearing "pounds of beef" is no different than hearing Homer Simpson chant "get a job" during the battle theme for Beast Ganon in The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
I'm listening, wondering if i have the right Bryyo, and then 2:53 kicks in. Nope. This is the one. 👍
I remember someone said the lyrics said something along the lines of "Get a job". That's been stuck in my head forever.
I love this song so much. It still haunts me to this day. A eulogy for a dead culture.
Slightly reminds me of the Bionicle movies.
A little more intense than Magmoor caverns?
This is more bombastic, Magmoor is more tenebrous and bloomy. This elaborates how the reptilicans were almost gods and how they were proud of their planet. Magmoor is more about the dangers of fire underneath the surface of Tallon IV.

the top 2 music I luv is bryyo and rundas theme amazing masterpieces

GOD DAMMIT!!! epic soundtrack
I'm a sucker for piano anywhere in these games.
Pounds and pounds of beef, and pounds and pounds of beef.

-Time Magazine
this whole comment section is just beef lol
By the pound.
pounds and pounds of beef... pounds and pounds and pounds of beef...
Thank you so much..
I'll have 5 whoppers, and 5... more whoppers.
Samus: I hope Rundas is okay.
Anyone here from Zesty Jesus' TF2 bot video?
It makes sense that he would use this song for the intro, he's got pounds and pounds of beef with the bot hosters.
I'm trying, but I just can't hear "pounds of beef." I don't even hear any hard consonants. Sounds more like "noz u rain" to me.
I notice that this song keeps on saying "bowser, bowser, bowser"
Ow... Ow... Ai-yai-yai-yow...
Wasn't it extended for Trilogy version? I remember it being a bit less repetitive.
Yes it was
Everyone seems to hear pounds and pounds of beef, and I can too if I know to listen for it. But really all I hear is "Bowser Bowser Bowser Bowser"
Bowser Bowser Beef
Reminds me of Lexx's theme song
Song of songs for Bryyo!
Where’s the extended version?
S O C C E R B E A N S
oh goodness lol
Don’t try to ruin this song for me, you beef people. All I hear is “Vertal, vertal, verlis, vertal.”
Bowser Bowser BEAT Bowser
Game of Thrones?
ok you can stop the temple grounds some
Beef!!!
@TheZOocker Haters gonna hate.
GOD DAMMIT!!! why did you ruin it for me! q.q
Sounds like you are buying beef
Tune wikid game

@GeneralPhantoon What if he's chinese? HUH?!
