Holy cow! Pig Island sounds fun but I would just video. The girls would love this place. They are super friendly. Can’t believe how close they were. I’m a sucker for these type of events. Holy cow, Markos voice is getting so much lower.
What is your favorite CocoCay excursion? We want to avoid the water park. We have been debating between swimming with pigs and snorkeling. Is there a good kid friendly reef to snorkel at? (My kids are 10 & 12.)
@@JosieBailey probably snorkeling. Just make sure it’s the excision that takes you on a boat out to the reef and not just fins and snorkel for use in their beach area. They took some made cement blocks with openings and sunk them deep in the roped off area. You don’t want that!!! The rock eef we boated to was perfect for kids. With lots of fish.
Hiya what is the price we're expecting to pay for this excersion and how long will you get to stay on pig's island? We are travelling in 11 months so this excersion is not out yet but there is no time limit to start getting excited and planning 🙈 Thanks for the video x
The excursion is about 3 hrs. So you still have time to enjoy Coco Cay. I should have included price in the video, because now I don’t remember. But it was fair and comparable to other excursions. I hope you have the greatest trip and make lots of wonderful memories!
Before. However, this excursion is not on the list of excursions until close to the sail date. I’m not sure why they do that. You just have to keep checking.
DO NOT GO SWIMMING WITH THE PIGS THERE THINKING THERE IS NO CONSEQUENCES My wife and I went swimming with the pigs on Valentine’s Day 2024 in Nassau. 2 days later she got a small bump on her thighs. She started throwing up everything she ate and drank. We went to a local clinic that juiced her up with antibiotics and sent us home. Luckily we returned to Boston the next day and went to clinic in Dedham. They did blood work and saw she had a blood infection. Then was transferred to Faulkner, then transferred again to then bigger hospital @ BWH. She was sent to surgery and things went south. There she was induced in coma because her white blood cells kept going up and they couldn’t find the right antibiotics to treat her with. She was in intensive care for 4 days on 14 different I.V. and made it thank GOD. DO NOT GO THERE, IT MIGHT BECOME A BADDD EXPERIENCE.
How did the blood infection come about? How was it transferred? Did she drink some of the ocean water while swimming? I work on a farm with various animals and have swam with various animals. I've never caught anything.
@ hi It was waterborne . you can’t go into the water with any open wounds can’t be recently shaved can’t go in with a mosquito bite that you’ve been scratching. There is so much bacteria in the water then you throw in swim pigs that pee and poop in near water. This excursion was a Valentine’s Day gift that almost killed my wife
Swimming with pigs tour is abuse and the fact that people don’t see it is so sad . The only reason they are swimming or “looking at the camera” is because they hold a stick with an apple on it at all times to get them to do whatever they want them to do . Keeping them in the water for 20 plus minutes while everyone takes their precious pictures . They have blisters from the sun . It’s a circus and completely wrong .
I love new adventures with my kiddos!
I’ve heard of these adventures, but never have swum with pigs myself. You guys have been on a LOT of cruises!
Love loving on piggies
Thanks for this review! How long is the excursion?

When did this Cococay excursion pop up on the Royal Caribbean app to book? Only Nassau swim with pigs is showing on the app
I don’t know why this excursion does that!!! It goes up on the app closer to the sail date. I feel like I had to check it everyday…ugh
Thank for sharing your experience.

Don’t put you hand in a pigs mouth 😱 I’m out 😂🤪
Why? Setting up yourself for pig crap in the water. I wonder sometimes. Please help these people.
We’re good!😊🙌. Please no worries for us.😉🏝️🤣
Sharks will eat you there , a teenager got killed in front of her mother snorkeling .
