Swappable controls and buttons solve so many problems, when you are playing different games from different consoles, subjective preferences, etc. Wow, the only thing stopping me from getting this is if the price is too crazy. 🍻🤘🏼🔥
I’m curious how well the software picks up the changed buttons and how complicated it will be. Plus, if the buttons don’t feel good, it’s all pointless.
And with the specs on these chips, windows isnt going to chug. Rest mode also works fine with debloated windows 10 LTSC iot on the steam deck, dont see why it wouldnt here as well
But I don't get why make the modules 2 things at once? I mean, why not make one module for just the analog stick, one for just the d-pad, one for the face buttons, etc.
@@davidsentanu7836no 6 buttons option, fighting games are huge in east asia and you can rotate them, so I'm not sure what the benefit is for individual modules?
On Steam Deck I always wish the right track pad were up higher or something, because the position makes using the analog stick so much more comfortable. I finally could take left hand analog movement with right hand trackpad aiming seriously with one of these. (Just please don't be like my Razer mouse, where I can swap the side for all these button combinations, but the connection wears out or something, so sometimes buttons just won't work)
This is actually brilliant. But it's kind of a nightmare for Steam Input.... I honestly prefer unified controls on an ecosystem so you have the same Steam Input and the same muscle memory across all games.
I so wanted to buy the kun or 2s but they were too expensive. For $1350 I could buy the Rog Ally X $750 and Ayaneo Pocket Evo retro $650... Your devices are great quality but the US competition prices are a better deal. Sad.. I have the Legion Go and I pre ordered the Odin2 portal. Im happy. Just wish the Legion go had a bigger battery, more Ram & better speakers...
Hope you guy's worked out the heat/battery issues maybe a slightly larger chassis for better air flow? Better yet perhaps provide cooling fan to improve air flow and overheating. I still use my aya neo 2 since launch and it hasn't gotten any issues yet.
I look forward to the reviews 😊 I like a modular windows device but I don’t know if I’ll be using it much as I don’t tend to need more than one configuration but I do like the concept.
I've been saying this since I got the OG Steam Deck: If a company creates a handheld/console with swappable/upgradable modules....that could bring handhelds/consoles more inline with PC's. This is a good step in the right direction. I'm paying attention now.
Don't tell me, "it's module, just not the battery!" And my OCD doesn't like that the matt black and shiny blacks don't match. Why am I getting modular MOTO/MOTOROLA of a decade ago. A good concept but an abject failure in execution (even with the support of Hasselblad and JBL)
Ok. Ngl interchange layouts is pretty good for what game you want to play. But the only reason why I would buy this it it had a bigger battery than the Rog ally x
My main concern will be are those controller modules included with the handheld or separately purchased? Too bad they didn’t add specs, no battery or SoC info.
Top comments spoiled the swappable layout, but I wasnt ready for the 6 button option. If all things turn out well for this I finally found a replacement for my SD (oled at this point)
Btw any word on how the extra buttons will expose itself to the system? I'm assuming it's xinput and maybe emulating a steam controller on the touch pads? Want to know if this will play ball with Linux
gonna be pricy and product class gonna be whole lot different. Despite that more will go for affordable and conventional controllers due to wide support
And when will the new device be released ? I'm talking about the other devices not this one cause when we order this device, you will announce a new device.
Got to give it to them they come up with some good ideas I just hope its got a big battery like the ally x,if not its useless Pitty this wasn't implemented in the pocket evo.
This is real innovation. Well done Ayaneo.
I’m glad that swappable buttons and controllers are now become a trend.
Its ugly and not rly good
@@XRazeYTplease explain why you think that way.
@@rolux4853 I am not a fan of changing things like this because I always have to worry that it could simply fall out or wear out or something else.

@@ranceisseps I never mentioned that nobody is a fan of it, my statement only referred to me and my opinion 🤓☝️
the song, the brand, the items, the video, the everything of it, just wonderful!!
I hope they paid royalties for Feeling Good and it’s not just AI generated…

swapped controller what the hell that cool
NOW WE ARE TALKING!!! GOOOOO AYA!!!!
What an absolutely brilliant idea!
Once again, Killer trailer! 🤯
This device looks just great and could solve a lot of problems. Well done! 👍
great innovation deserves an attention. so there you have it. ill check it out once it releases.
Buying it day one purchase! So excited
If this runs steamOS then they might've won the Internet
you are not kidding. that is sexy.
yep
Just install bazzite dude lol

@@M_CFV i still wouldn't bother using windows
Holy shit, finally someone does it! That's the modular handheld I've been waiting for years!
I hope it’s close to an 80w battery. This would be amazing

Now this is sleek
Modular desing!
Awesome. I hope that becomes the norm one day!
sticks and buttons not being straight down yet again is actually huge
WAIT OH SHIT THEY'RE MODULES???

Console perfeito, uma pena que no Brasil é uma realidade de poucos.
Infelizmente chega aqui por um preço exorbitante

Ok, now this is something.
It's about time... absolutely gorgeous!
Impressive. The only question that remains for me is the battery. Is it 80Wh like Ally X or Claw 8 Ai+? If not, no deal for me.
Probably not
You also need to ask yourself what APU is going to use. That compact design doesn’t inspire new flagship CPU/GPU combo…
@or1on89 Ofcourse it's going to use the latest one
Swappable controllers. Feels like that ends in tech support quick.
Holy shit 🤯 it actually is the best gaming handheld of the year

Superb creation and innovation wow Im in awe 😍🤯
You have my attention now. Was going to pass up on the next one till this announcement.

Legion Go's giant weaknesses are the battery, and how the software support and updates have just stopped
Amazing! Love the design guys 👏🏽
Breathtaking
Ca me rappelle la switch et ce que j’aime vraiment c’est que ce n’est pas une copie mais même une amélioration. Bonne innovation
1:56 remember me 8 years ago about Smach Z
bro brought first handheld diversity
I was saying this for years
Give players freedom to choose
Well done ayaneo
Absolute Cinema.
Amazing hope this becomes an industry standard.
Glad to see Oculink
😮 just wow, this is amazing!!!
That's brilliant!
Finally, the correct way to play controller-compatible Wii games!
i really like that 6 button layout for fighting games! reminds me of the Genesid or sf4 fightpads
This is sick!
not gonna lie this is making me jealous and salty in a really good way ... keep it up aya neo you will dominate the market soon.
im crying...this is perfecxtion
really cool! 🎉 wish it was cheaper though
Hope you guy's worked out the heat/battery issues maybe a slightly larger chassis for better air flow? Better yet perhaps provide cooling fan to improve air flow and overheating. I still use my aya neo 2 since launch and it hasn't gotten any issues yet.
Very cool idea. It'll be way out of my price range but still interesting
I must clap my hands for this one! That's what you call a step forward! 👏 🎉
I look forward to the reviews 😊 I like a modular windows device but I don’t know if I’ll be using it much as I don’t tend to need more than one configuration but I do like the concept.
Now this is absolutely amazing especially wirth the Sega controls!
Now please make it cost not more than a top of the line Steam Deck!
Soooo cool!!❤
Yh love the design could be my first buy great job
Can't wait for this one more power.
would be nice to see adaptive triggers on a windows handheld configurable with the software
I was gonna get the new air but might have to get this.
finally the return of circular trackpads
Bravo 👏
GYATTTTT!!!!! 😯
Looks really interesting! I wonder if the controls are automatically remapped to each emulators whenever it’s swapped. Maybe a saved profile?
This is fire! 🔥
Hey everybody come close come close gorgeous console but get ready to lose a arm and a leg for that price 😂😂😂😂
Innovation? Modules? Wtf?!
Smach Z: "Hold my beer"...
That looks nice 😊

*slow clap* Ok AYANEO...ill upgrade my AYANEO 2s with this. Very cool idea
Ayaneo fighting to stay relevant against the big dogs....................... and SUCCEEDING. This is crazy.
Ok but what about screen size vrr battery size ? Oled?
Are those control options included or add ons one can buy later on ?

Modular joysticks is gaming tech peak! Looks very cool and the design is amazing!
Can we play with Ayaneo 3 on a tv in docking mode too?
😮 that's 🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾

Wow your brain cells are so dead
My main concern will be are those controller modules included with the handheld or separately purchased? Too bad they didn’t add specs, no battery or SoC info.
Ayaneo cookin that Christmas dinner!
Thats what we want 😎
The big question is going to be, are the controller accessories already included in the box or sold separately? Also, what are the specs of the unit?
Top comments spoiled the swappable layout, but I wasnt ready for the 6 button option. If all things turn out well for this I finally found a replacement for my SD (oled at this point)

Man I hope Sonys new psp 3 gets the perfect design for a handheld something like this
Well dang 😮
Iv got like 4 ayaneos laying around , the kun is the only one I really like using but Ill get this one too.
Sell them or gift them out
They went all the way out on this one I need asasp
I just want to be able to play Prajant games for 3 to 4 hours, waiting for that.
gonna be pricy and product class gonna be whole lot different. Despite that more will go for affordable and conventional controllers due to wide support
Hope this control scheme comes to the kun 2
can't wait to buy it 😁😁
Yeah that's awesome....... But that screen size is small as hell.. I'll give them A. for effortb👍
Now, that's cool

Pitty this wasn't implemented in the pocket evo.
Finally the switch 2
Symmetrical sticks. F-ing finally.
Why is it making the StarCraft Terran sounds when changing controllers?
Otherwise badass device
personally waiting for the super ayaneo 3 turbo edition
Wow.
Wow 😮😮😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤
If they added sim cell network sopport, they bee cooking hard then.
I want those swappable buttons on an Android handheld, so that I can play Saturn and Genesis on a nice six button pad.
This looks way above my budget
