Love my D6. Best bike I have ever owned. Love the idea of a ZZR14 or a Busy but, the ZZR 1100 has all the performance that a 62 year old man will ever need. Long live the Legend.
Nice video. The top speed they stated is no where near the bikes real top speed. Apart from that the best bike I have ever ridden. and I have ridden many. I love my ZZR 1100.
It's a very heavy bike but once you get on the move you don't notice the weight and I can give mine a good thrashing around the twisties and it always goes where I point it. I had a gsxr 750 srad before it which was very light weight but I still prefer the ZZR. It's got Instant kick ass power from anywhere in the rev range all the way to the redline unlike the 750 which had to be revved past 9000 rpm to get the same rush of acceleration. The ZZR is a very capable machine that will leave most modern bikes behind on the straights despite its age. On dyno it makes more power than the 98 R1 and the Honda blackbird and It has no problem keeping up with both. If I wanted a bike purely on looks I would have bought something else but it still attracts attention in fact more so than my gsxr 750 srad did. It's a stunning looking bike in the right colour.
This colour design looks good on the 1990 zzr .. I'm currently saving up to buy a decent low mileage one .. preferably first year of production like this one. I'm also obsessing over Kawasaki's zx10 tomcats and 1000 rx's as I've never owned any of them.

Bref, ZZR, les trois lettres qui font trembler la planète moto :)
mine has 36k on the clock a d1, cost £1300 then left on the drive for two years after blowing it up in Belgium ,will be back on the road Monday with two new tyres,brakes, calipers, headrace bearings,new seals and oil sensor,brake light sensor,front and rear sprockets and chain,carbs balanced, service, total cost £1200, dont even care, cant wait till Monday
J'en avais une c'était la meilleur bécane que j'ai piloté , mais 250 a l'heure ? la mienne montait facilement a 300 ,j'ai toujours regretté de l'avoir vendu
@aitouammi Je suis "petit" a 1m72 et je ne souffre pas trop. C'est une habitude a prendre. Je suis un peu plus lourd (75kg). Ne t'inquietes pas, une fois a 10km/h c'est du gateau!
@scoubi85 La majeur partie des journalistes disent n'importe quoi. Bonne video apart pour le commentaire, 4 pistons? un peu juste! 6 pistons sont necessaires pour eviter "brake fade". Pauvre Francais, 102 chevaux? dommage.

Bought my D3 new in 1995. Best bike I ever owned. After 17 years and 85000 miles its still going strong.

excellent cet ancien reportage que je n'avais jamais vu, mais concernant les avis du journaliste (?) , c'est du grand n'importe quoi avec le recul.
