5:20 Exactly that. I made a video where I put in a yellow top 12v that the phone company used a few years back. They swapped equipment and those batteries started showing up. I can get the name of the battery if it helps...I still have a few. ( The video may show it too...I don't recall )
Yup, that's what I want to do with mine. th-cam.com/video/eU3Ty83SgVo/w-d-xo.html It looks like the Verizon batteries are ML8-12. ML9-12 are the same size, but one more amp-hour. I have two on order. I'll have to try out that chisel technique on mine to remove those spacer supports.
I think the Craftsman Locking Pliers were made by Parker Manufacturing Company............I had one of those Mavicas years ago, I took hundreds upon hundreds of pictures with that thing, great camera for its time.
My wife gets so mad at me if I pull over after seeing a garage sale going on. Even though the one I went to with her I got her a $2 pair of knee high rubber boots from Hunter. They are probably over $50 new.
Craftsman sold that style of vise grip in the 1970's. They underperform compared to ViseGrip brand of the same era, clunkier and the teeth aren't as sharp, but the release feature prevents the hand pinching with the leading brand. They were a bit cheaper than ViseGrip. I still own mine, and I regret the purchase every time I have to use them. Wilde-Truarc is a leading brand name for snap rings. Like many fastener manufacturers, they sold branded tools to go with the fastener product. I don't know if they manufactured their own tools or if they were contracted. The snap ring world has long ago moved on from that style, but I have similar pliers in my arsenal. I would have to go look to see if mine are branded like yours. My son treated me to a set of Snap-on forged pliers. In spite of that upgrade, sometimes other style variants outperform the forged beauties.
I have that exact pair of snap ring pliers I picked up a couple weeks ago. I think it might have some relation to Walden Tools. The battery trash can is awesome.
That power-packer is a truss plate stapler for pressing those staple plates into roof truss joints.
Ohh, that makes sense. Thanks for the info!

Waldez Tru Arc manufacturse the snap rings those pliers would be used to install.
Thanks for the info!
Nice haul. As much fun as buying new tools, if not more!
Thanks! Yeah, I think I prefer shopping for old tools.
Great little haul. Can wait to see the history on the vice grips.. thanks for sharing 👍👍😄😄
You're welcome. Hopefully I can dig up the original patent info on them.

Thanks for the tip on Parker, that helps. I heard about the Mavicas when they came out, but never saw one in person until now.

Yeah, you never know what you're going to find.

DUDEZILLA! That Rayovac can is like TOTALLY RAD!
Yeah, there was no way I could pass that up when I saw it.
@@ballinator I DO NOT BLAME YA!!!!
I guarantee "power packer" is someone's Grindr user name.
LOL! Now I'm scared of what might come up when I search for replacement parts for it on Google...
I have that same Ray-O-Vac trash can in much better condition. Probably got it when I was 10 years old back in the 60s. I got brand new
Very cool!

Interesting. Walden makes sense. Yeah, I couldn't pass up the trash can.
I like it !
Thanks!
