جني محصول التفاح من المزارع في مقاطعة أونتاريو، تذهب العوائل مع أطفالها في يوم عطلة الأسبوع للتسوق وقطف التفاح بأيديهم، تكون الرحلة ممتعة للأطفال والكبار أيضاً من الأسرة ويستمتعون بقطف الثمار بأيديهم عن الأشجار وأصحاب المزرعة يقومون بنقل كل مجموعة من المتسوقين إلى المكان المعد لجني الثمار بالتراكتورات الضخمة المجهزة بعربات واسعة لاستيعاب أكبر عدد من المتسوقين المكونين من عدّة قوميات كما هو واضح في الصورة، ثم يعيدونهم لمركز المزرعة ، حيث يقومون بوزن الكمية التي جمعتها كل أسرة على حدة، ويدفعون ثمن الفواكه التي جنوها، وتكون أسعارها رخيصة مقارنة بأسعار السوق لأنهم وفروا على المزارع أجرة عمال قطاف الثمار، ثم يعودون بسياراتهم لمنازلهم بعد قضاء يوم ممتع مع أطفالهم في جني ما يريدون من التفاح والفواكه الأخرى لعمل المربيات والعصائر الطازجة وتناول التفاح كفاكهة طازجة. أنظروا كمية الثمار الفاقدة المتساقطة على الأرض؟! هذه الظاهرة غير متوفرة في الوطن العربي بسبب ضيق المساحات. شاهدوا الفيديو.
