There's loads of Irish/N Irish accents, as the same with Scottish, Welsh and English accents. You'll be able to get some but others will likely go over your head depending on where you're from. I'm from N East England and people from the English midlands would struggle to understand me

Cos she's been mummified while still alive. Her fringe hides where they lopped off the top of her skull to extract her brain for the process. Normally, they'd have stuck a hook up her nose and scrambled her brain instead of removing it, but all the coke damage to her nose made that impossible, as the proess would have collapsed her face.
Her hair just keeps getting longer. Soon we won't be able to see her face at all

Graham is Irish? I mean he doesn't speak with an English accent but the Irish is so diluted that the intonation (or lilt) is gone his pronunciation of individual words seems to often forgoe the standards associated with Irish dialects. (Am I wrong? Have I spent to many hours looking at English dialects?) He also sounded more Irish here than normal here, at least to me
He sounds very Irish to me, but then I'm Irish. He just doesn't have a particularly strong accent. His is like mine - fairly neutral.
I like Graham Norton but you wouldn't know he's Irish his accent is so British also Nicolas accent is a tiny bit English too, but she has been living in London a few years so I'll let that slide. Also that Derry accent is so fake.
They both sound Irish. Graham's accent has definitely softened but you wouldn't mistake his accent for an English one 😂 😂!
@@itsonlysound Ye definitely would I'm from Ireland and if it wasn't for his few tv appearance in Ireland I would never have known he was Irish. Iv'e talked to many people from England and they had no idea he was from Ireland, they just thought he was English. It's a hyper super regional Irish English accent, terry wagon, Dara O'brein and marry robinson all have this accent to different degrees, Grahams is extreme.. barely a single linguistic feature in there is Irish.

@@Jamie-ee4ll Never said everyone outside of Dublin sounds like a farmer, they're English influenced you can't think they're natural Irish features the vowels are English, especially graham nortons, there's nothing Irish about his accent. BBC is responsible for it. They're not neutral accents.
I wouldn't say Grahams accent is British, but it has changed and is less Irish that it might have been, but also a showy TV voice, not his everyday talking to his mam voice.
