I have one; a Fusion III w/roasted maple neck, EMG retro 70s, etc., and it punches WAY above its weight class. Shockingly great playing axe for 400 bucks.
Yes, all the Harley Benton guitars are great 👍! I love them all and at that price you just ccan’t stop with just one.🫠
I just received the RB 612 CS I ordered and overall I was happy with the fit and finish, tone, etc. , especially for the price. However the G strings seemed difficult to get in tune …. before buying I had read that changing strings on these is crazy hard… with only 6 slots for 12 strings, each pair of strings having to share one hole in the tailpiece …. so I also bought a WD 12 string trapeze tailpiece with 12 slots for less than $30, it cost$37.84 with shipping… The 12 slot tailpiece fit on the existing trapeze and I was able to restring the guitar with the original strings because I’m cheap lol…. it worked! Something about not having to share a hole solved the G string problem… so I highly recommend to all purchasers of this guitar, spend the extra 30 bucks and you won’t have restringing problems, and if you’re having tuning issues maybe that will help as well. GREAT review, great playing BTW… but there IS another review worth watching… on “Jon is just TOO loudD“ TH-cam channel.
I like playing a 12 string guitar and I love the sound of one but I never nor never will own one just for the reason of changing the strings 🥴😖🤯😄.

Great thing about HBs is if you want to try something different but don't want to drop a lot of money they've probably got something in their range, Vs, explorers etc.
I'm on two now (335 style and a Dollahan) but have had a fusion strat and a DC junior that I've sold on and have never failed to be impressed by the quality for the price you pay.

Dude its a revolution. You can bet the big names are paying attention. Its a different time now. Quality guitars for fair prices? Whod of thunk it? Beautiful collection. Ive actually purchased the TE 80, Prince Madcats re pop. I bought the proper pick guard to make the ensemble compleat. I also purchased the HB SC special. Witch is the HB version of the Les Paul Jr special tv yellow. Amazing guitar. Ive owned actual Les Pauls and they are hit or miss. For the money the HB stuff is a sure win
Hell Yeah! I'v had every guitar their is over 100+ and these HB's have everyone scratching their heads saying (How Do They Do It)$! I had the HB DC Jr in TV yellow as well, I even made a video on it and the quality is great! And I have the Prince Madcat copy made by Zuwei, also have a vid on it but I got it way before I saw it at Thomann's. Thanks for watching!😀

I along with many others still can't believe the quality of these guitars and some with stainless steel frets and baked maple necks/fingerboards 🤩.

People are always trying to get me to assume a more erect posture but I use the one that works for me and now I'm less likely to try to change.

Awesome collection. I bought the DC 580 CH too , loved it but upgraded to the DC custom, and gifted the 580 to my daughter. HUGE bang for the buck guitars. I also have a cheap epiphone SG, and a Gretsch G5222. Love my DC custom as much as the Gretsch. Cool video man, greetings and salutations from across the puddle! 👍👍👍☮☮☮🤘🤘🤘

I have the DC580 vintage in cherry. Very much like yours there. But I e modified mine a bit. It's a Very good Guitar for the price.

I don’t have any of the Tele’s anymore from HB. And I don’t think I’ll ever buy a Flying V because I had 2 and I didn’t like them.

If I were to just keep one and only one out of all the HB's I have it would have be the Harley Benton SC Custom II FL because deep down I'v got whammy bar fever and that guitar stands out, I just forgot about it because it's in a case tucked away because I still can't play it yet.
You should look into Michael Kelly guitars. Very nice low priced guitars.

IMHO, the best of the Harleys is one of the cheapest --- the SC-400 SGT. Play it next to a real Gibson LP and you'll understand.
Yes, I own 3 real Gibson LP's and I've been playing over 50 years, so I know a little about guitars.
I play my $118 HB SC-400 SGT on a regular basis, and it's a keeper, even mixed in with the "real" guitars.
Harley Benton guitars are top notch but sometimes you just can't get through to someone with an attitude because it's not made by Gibson. Thanks!

I would have thought your number two would have come out as number one. I never would have thought that that one would have even been in the top three. It's about the size of a 339 I think.
I love my Bad Cat Unicorn much more then any SC LP that I have ever owned, even when I had Gibson's. That Harley Benton Aeolus Bengal Flame is just so different from what I'v had before. But if I had to just pick one out of all the HB's it would be the one out I left out the Harley Benton SC Custom II FL.
And here I was thinking that my 5 were a lot of guitars. Pkay, okay, they are, but only 5 gives me permission for # 6! Nice rundown, Bean! I wish I could get the BM75, so with that not available I'm going to wait on a B stock TE90 FLT. Might be awhile!

Slowing up on the buying, for sure. You have a big collection and I'm interested in seeing 1 at a time and the stories behind or around it. You can compare them to your new faves, and let us know why they dropped out of your playing habit.
I must have had well over a couple hundred guitars in my lifetime but, like I said before I'm not a collector just a player that has more then I really need. I consider my self someone with an obsession for guitars. I use to never go past 5 or 8 max and would rotate my stock, then HB hit the market...🤩😵💫🤪

And I totally agree about the need for a darker fretboard on that red LP.

Hey hope you can help for first guitar, what model should I get? And what models have the stainless still on them?
First time guitar I would say a hard tail with no tremolo/whammy bar unless you like that as I do, but Thomann makes so many Harley Benton style guitars it depends on what kind you like? Go to a big box music store and try a Tele, Strat or SC LP and order the body style you liked the most with those pickups and find a one with SS,Frets and or a flame roasted neck if they have it. I hope this helped.
@@beannie60 I'm leaning more on the telecaster side or the sc, Strato, I don't find them appealing at all. Is the build kit a good option, from Harley benton, has it is cheap and if I don't like it I can just gift it away to some young cousin or something?

Fingerboards do not affect the sound they do not give a darker brown sound.
Yes they do. rosewood is darkerin tone maple and Ebony are brighter in tone it’s been known for years, I didn’t just make it up!

what locking tuners do you use?
I'v learned to use the ones that cost more than $19 so I look for ones on Amazon for $25-$35 because they are better. I have Guyker locking tuners on a couple of my guitars.

Yes! You get a tone from the wood on the fingerboard, Maple like Ebony is bright, Rosewood is darker warmer that can give you a brown sound as per EVH. 🙂
