Wonderful! Arranged marriages scare me. What if you're set up with a man you really can't stand???? 😒😢
Commenting a year late--but there is a difference between arranged marriage and forced marriage. From what my Indian friends have told me, in arranged marriages, your parents will present you with an eligible bachelor, but if you don't vibe with him, you don't have to get married.
@@eliseschoolprojects nah, there was immense pressure back then not to disappoint their parents. If a marriage was arranged, you were expected to follow through with it. Obviously this has now changed quite a bit, but the social stigma remains quite prevalent in many Indian families.
