    Love your enthusiasm!!
This is also my five year anniversary of owning my 2018 Leaf that I purchased in October 2019 from the dealer with 2K miles. I have 46K miles now. I’ve not been quite as adventurous as you on road trips but I really love my Leaf.
I think I am unfortunately having a problem with a module in my battery pack. It’s not too bad yet but under cold weather and high speed conditions I can loose all of my range within a few miles. Under ideal conditions and around town I can still nearly get a 150 mile range. I’ve watched TH-cam videos from No Gas Niko whom had this problem with his 62kw Leaf and he made several trips to the dealer to resolve the problem. He had to prove there was a bad module by driving in extreme conditions and making a video with his Leaf Spy that showed the bad module. The problem is that under normal conditions the module appears to be good. I have one more year of warranty so hopefully I can get it taken care of.
If not, I have been finding multiple places in China producing new battery packs. You can get a 56kwh pack for under $3k. But shipping and installation are going to maybe more than double that price.
But…it does mean there is hope for many more years of life for my car.
I do love my Leaf. It’s too bad that all of these politically inspired EV haters won’t allow themselves to experience how wonderful an EV can be. Admittedly, it’s not quite time for the masses in this country yet, but it’s getting closer!

Congratulations on your 5 years with the Nissan Leaf. You've done things with a Leaf that no one but you thought was possible, way to prove the naysayers wrong. You're an inspiration to all EV owners, great video as always. One last congrats on the new Chevy Blazer EV, let us know how you like it please?

Hey, way to go. They say that once you go electric, you never go back. And, you've made a nice used option available to someone else. Looking forward to seeing that bad boy Blazer at cars and coffee.

I just purchased a 2020 Leaf SL Plus. So far, the car seems to be awesome, and I have been charging it in my condom parking spot.
    Safe EV drive.
    Cheers from Halifax, Canada.

Congratulations. Lovely video, really thought the announcement was going to be a new Leaf. Sadly being in the UK we don’t have the Chevrolet brand any more. But good luck and best wishes for the future.

Yeah we thought about the leaf, but with their greatest deals right now $19-40 a month there are restriction on their miles! So I couldn't go where I wanted! Have you seen my latest road trip! ?? 9 road trips in the leaf! I'm crazy person !! LOL I love it ! and I'm so glad I have a watcher from across the pond! How COOL!! Thanks for watching 💜 What's the EV situation like in the UK?

@@carolinebray82 Watched all of your content, particularly as we drive a 2024 Leaf here in the UK. Prices of EVs in the UK are really competive at the moment. £20k for an MG4. Used values have really gone low, can get loads for your money. Manufactures in the UK have to sell a certain amount of EVs otherwise they get fined 15k for each gas car they sell. EV sales are nicely up on the year. We have huge issue with Anti Ev people who constantly give false information on YT and social media. Some can be really nasty. The charging infrastructure is really good with plenty of Chademo, new ones still being put in too. Our son is just negotiating to buy a Hyundai Ioniq 5N, so that will be fun.

Oh come on. Why get rid of the leaf. See it to the end not after just 53,000 miles. I have never met a leaf owner who has had it for hundreds of thousands of miles. 200 at least. Smh. We all want to know what happens to the battery at 200,000 miles Looks like a lot of EV owners don’t want to stick around for that. That’s not very convincing for someone like me. So what I take from that is these cars are throw away vehicles. Get rid of them as soon as you can. And Chevy blazers are expensive. From what I seen most of the EVs are now. Nissan leafs chademo charger plug is being fazed out in my area. I don’t think there anymore to be exact so what are we supposed to do if we want fast charging?? I been hearing about the $19 a month lease deal. Hmmmm I doubt I can get that in south Texas lol. I bet the salesman will laugh at me if I go to one now. I will record it.
