Hey, Thank God, I came across your page and all your videos are interesting and educating about all you need to know as an international student. But, please can you make a video about the education system. for instance in Nigeria ,we don't do essay, the teacher teach ,you read more about the topic and when exam comes, it is like a question and answer thing .or is it like final year project ? like give us a format of what to expect , how questions are asked and if they is like a format/way your essay should be . @Intentional Favour

Hi, Yes, I did a written social work interview with the university of Sheffield in 2019 and I passed. First thing I'll say is, DON'T OVERTHINK IT! It's easy to pass. You don't really need a particular textbook to prepare. I'll only suggest that you check out the PROFESSIONAL CAPABILITIES FRAMEWORK (PCF) which outlines what is expected of Social workers from the point of entry. You can find and download it on Google. Check out the "POINT OF ENTRY" as that is what the university will use to access your performance. You'll see what you're expected to know at the point of applying for social work course.
Most of the things required from you are basic knowledge of social work. So ensure you meet those requirements. But if I may ask, did the uni not give you a template of what to expect in the interview? As in, how the written Interview/examination will go. Also check out the video I suggested earlier in case you have an oral and group interview too.
