I despise the idea that video games can't tell a story. This in itself tells a story that games do tell an interactive story. Far better than any book. Your choices do matter.
But it is not. Show me a video game that has a story as good as Madame Bovary. Telling a story is easy for audiovisual media, telling a good story is not.
