For the CMI webinar on May 21, 2024, guest speaker Magdi Azer, REMADE Institute, presented "Accelerating the Transition to a Circular Economy in a Resource-Constrained World."
To dramatically reduce the energy consumption and emissions associated with industrial-scale materials production and processing, the REMADE Institute has invested nearly $100 million to develop technologies to increase the circularity of metals, plastics, fibers, and electronic scrap. This talk will overview the ongoing efforts of REMADE and its 165 members to ensure that products, materials, and resources can be reused, repaired, remanufactured, and recycled to extend their lifespan and reduce environmental impact.
