Stray kids's fans are called stay. So phrase "Stray kids everywhere all around the world You make Stray kıds stay" means that fans are the reason why they keep doing what they are doing. Also when you take out the letter r from Stray it becomes stay. So fans are the Reason why they exist.

Stray Kids have so much content it’s difficult to recommend something. All of their songs are great and because they produce their own songs (beats and lyrics), they have a unique sound which is unmistakably “Stray Kids”. They also like to experiment with all kinds of genres, so you will never get bored with their music. They are extremely talented artists who can rap, dance, sing, and produce, and they have endearing personalities. I suggest Case 143 and Venom next, but any song you choose will not disappoint.

Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. It's nice to see older people (like me) reacting to their music. I would recommend Maniac, Easy, Venom, All In, The Sound and for a less rap heavy, more vocal song Neverending Story. The live stage version, NOT the OST video version.
Neverending Story makes me breathless with emotion.

Neverending story is one of my fav kdrama OSTs out there. It might sound biased since I'm a stay, but it's just that good 🤷‍♀️😭

Hi, it's really hard to categorize Stray Kids because they have a lot of songs and they're very different. There were 9 of them, but in 2019 there were 8 left. Personally, I recommend also listening to their ballads like Youtiful, Taste and Slump. the latest 5-star album is full of wonderful songs.Okay they have so many awesome songs that there is too many to choose. Enjoy, they are so great and talented, they all sing, rapping and dancing. I fell this hole and veery deep a little while ago.

Stray kids they are great way to get into Kpop I've been a kpop fan around 2010-2016 then just recently got back to kpop because of Stray Kids I heard Thunderous and it captured my interest so much, then found out they make their music themselves and loved them even more and they have so much diversity that you can definitely find songs that you would like. I usually recommend songs of them base on the genre that a person like cause they have at least 150+ songs not even including their solo songs and it covers different genres. They are 8 member group who all can sing, rap and dance. I have never seen a group as diverse as them personally. They mix genres in one song which I didn't think I would like but to Stray Kids they still make it sound like a whole song even though it covers different genres. They have ballads, heavy raps, rock, edm and many more. Also just to add you are right in your interpretation of Thunderous it is indeed a clap back to their haters cause they always say that they make noise music but those people have not even deep dived to their contents. I hope you continue to listen to their songs cause these boys deserve to be known more for their talents and great personalities as well. They will definitely not disappoint you. Here are some of my recommendations
For Ballads/Semi-ballad: Secret Secret(My fave), Youtiful, Levanter, Ex, Mixtape: OH, Miixtape: On Track, Winter falls, Gone, Away, Sorry I Love You, Never Ending Story, Lonely St.
For Rap heavy : Venom( really unique beat), Maze of Memory (they all rapped), The Tortoise and Hare( very experimental)
For EDM: Phobia( one of my fave as well), Miroh
For their title track (mostly mix genres): God's Menu, Maniac, Case 143
These songs are just the ones on top of my head my comment is already so long haha. I just love this boys so much I get excited when people discover their music. Have fun on your kpop journey there are alot of other groups that are great as well but Stray Kids have so much contents I can't handle anymore other group for now but kpop is definitely an interesting world of music. 😁

A more vocal based song I recommend is 'secret secret', it's one of my favs so thats basically why im recommending 😭 But it really shows how skilled they are with singing
Someone else has also said 'neverending story' and I definitely agree. Watch the live stage version if you do choose this though 👍

Self producing Stray Kids are masters on word plays. The Korean title Teuk for S-class means Excellent or Special and Byeol Different or Star. Together, though taking longer, (serpent road), the different excellence (their musical aspiration, I believe) makes special star. The Korean title Sorikun for Thunderous is a singer of traditional Korean songs. The singer's rendition tends to be loud and voluminous. Another interpretation can be, though not common, a professional noise maker. Since Stray Kids are criticized for being incomprehensible noise makers (due to their fast rapping, unfamiliar concepts and beats, etc.) they sort of express their unapologetic determination on their musical road in a boisterous but humorous way in the song.

    • @kai_masters
      @kai_masters  ปีที่แล้ว +4

I love their fast beat! I think that’s what makes them unique and sets them apart from other K-pop artists. As a person that loves lyrics, I will definitely pay special attention to their words in future reactions. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. They have so much diversity so they don't have a specific style of music and too much great music so it's very hard to recommend music from them but you can dive into
    GOD'S MENU
    VENOM
    FREEZE
    BACK DOOR
    CIRCUS
    MANIAC
    RED LIGHTS
    Their newest would be
    GET LIT
    DLC
    SUPER BOWL
    FNF
like I said too many to mention but yiu can't go wrong with whatever you choose from them

I enjoyed your reaction, thanks. I like that you took notice of the lyrics, most of their songs are very meaningful and they're not afraid to delve into themes around mental health, self worth and just life struggles in general that you don't often get in other groups.
For more hype style songs like these I would suggest God's Menu (the track that is their most famous and really shows their mala flavour), Maniac, Venom and Back Door.
For more vibey style songs I recommend Easy, Chill, Grow Up, Mixtape OH, Chronosaurus and Party's Not Over which was a recent gift to STAY (fans) for our 5th anniversary.
For more ballad style songs that really show off their vocals I recommend Neverending Story (live version not OST), Secret Secret (live version where they're seated not the blue background one), Sorry I love You, There and Winter Falls.❤

I'd recommend their First Take videos. You get to hear some of their more vocal heavy songs and hear the quality of their voices without heavy manipulation.
It's hard to recommend specific songs, they just have so many and they really touch pretty much every genre. They do have some more rock heavy songs like Battleground or Time Out, some that are a bit more R&B like Collision, some that are pretty EDM focused like Miroh, rap heavy songs like Easy or Topline, experimental songs like Tortoise and the hare or Maze of memories, and some more ballad-y songs like Youtiful or Secret Secret.
You could really just put pretty much all of their albums into a randomizer and come out with a lot of really awesome songs. They are the only artist I've ever listened to, and I'm not young, who I like just about every song I've heard. The one thing I really love about them is the ability to take things that sound like they shouldn't go together and make them flow. I think that's one of their greatest talents.

    • @kai_masters
      @kai_masters  ปีที่แล้ว +3

Thanks for all of that great information! I noticed how their music seems very experimental in that each song incorporates different genres. I appreciate your classification system so that I can react to a variety of different sounds! 👍

      @noydbnoydb9402 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@kai_masters I definitely appreciate their willingness to experiment with their sound, it's produced some truly amazing songs. Their lyricism, as well, is something to appreciate.
The only issue with them is that once you start down this rabbit hole, it's impossible to escape it. Especially once you learn more about the boys themselves, there's just something about all of them that makes them lovable. Good luck to you 😁

Welcome to Stray Kids! Their songs are often quite high energy which has earned them the claim that their music is noisy, so they took that and ran with it on an older album No Easy (say it fast, “noisy”). They self produce and in fact have a wide variety of music styles. If you do start a deeper dive, you've a LOT of music to catch up up. They are prolific and their recent June comback 5 Star is amazing. Anyway, just ask Stays what type of music you'd like to hear from SKZ and they'll let you know. Whilst they have a lot of high enery and rap, they also have some very beautiful melodic songs and ballads which I think surprise newer listeners, especially after listening to songs like those you’ve chosen for this reaction. Enjoy!

Oh. You have jumped into a rabbit hole with SKZ. (Stray Kids) They have so much content. From hard hitting title tracks, to softer B-sides, to rock inspired fun stuff. If you pay attention to their lyrics, almost every song will have deep meanings. And they are very respectful. Even their diss tracks that they made to slap back at haters are very respectful....And catchy. Thunderous, Domino, Cheese, and Easy are honestly way too good of songs to just be made to annoy the haters. But they are so worth listening to.
I'm going to leave a list I give to baby Stay (STAY are the fandom for Stray Kids, if no one has said that yet) when they discover Stray Kids. Stray kids do have a story line of sorts. I'm going to leave it for you. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it is very important for people to watch. And parts of it are seen through out the story line. Hellevator is actually a song Stray kids wrote while taking part in the survival show that allowed them to debut from trainees to Idols. The lyrics have some pretty deep impact. Oh. And a side note that might not have been explained to you. When Stray Kids first debut, they were a 9 member group. One person (Woojin) left after a bit over a year & a half. Him leaving created a huge mess because they were preparing for a come back & had to push it back to rework everything without him, so we don't really talk about him. To me, he WAS part of SKZ, but is no longer. So even in the old stuff when I see him, I don't really count him. But you will see him in older videos. He was present till Double Knot, and that's the last of him being in the videos.
    (Hellevator)
    I Am Not trailer
    District 9
(Mirror could go here, but it's not completely in the story line)
    Voices
    Grow Up
    My pace
    I Am You
    Victory Song Performance Video
    Miroh
    Cle 2: Yellow Wood trailer
    Side Effects Teaser 1
    Side Effects
    Double Knot
(Astronaut is technically next, but it's also a split in the story line again. The group from this one end up in space & go on to the song TOP where they have a conclusion of a sorts for their story. So their path is up to Double Knot, then Astronaut, and finally TOP. The main story skips this, and goes on to Levanter Trailer.)
    Cle: Levanter Trailer
    Levanter
    Go Live Trailer
    Stray Kids Prequel: Highlight Reel
    Gods Menu
    In Life Trailer
    Back Door
I think that's the end of the official story line. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music. I still highly suggest checking out their album trailers. They started making them into mini movies.
There is also a mini story that covers several albums. It's about a group of school friends who start a film club. Then feelings & drama happen. I'll leave that list too.
    Mixtape: On Track
    Unveil track: "B Me"
    Mixtape: OH
    The View
    I hope this helps.

Part of the Kpop experience is the behind the scenes, getting to know the artists aspect. Not only is Stray Kids music a unique blend of genres that keeps me interested, their other types of content (such as SKZ Code) is so much fun. Getting to know their personalities through their pre-debut show, Stray Kids survival show, lets you see how far they have come and the unique way their group was formed. I hope you continue to check them out.

Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids! They are from JYP Entertainment. This agency has a lot of talented artists. I think that you should also react to some groups like 'Day6' / 'Xdianary Heroes' / 'The Rose'. They are a korean band but their music is not exactly "just rock". They play instruments so it looks like you would get a classic rock/pop-rock songs, but they will definitely surprise you! :D
    My personal recommendation is Day6:
    a) their debut song "Congratulations"
    b) one of the newest songs: "You Make Me"
    c) incredibly deep and meaningful: "Zombie"
