As a veteran and an American Airman myself I must say this is by far one of the best ads the Air Force has ever made. It's brutualy honest and speaks the truth.

My entire family (including extended) has been in the military extending over 200 years, so I plan to carry on the tradition by joining the USAF just like my dad, grandparents and uncles after high school

I work to give you something to shoot, im an ammo troop at moody we process 30mm constantly for the A-10s on base
@The505Guys God's supported more efforts to defend people than to harm, were defending our rights as Americans to live as we see fit, wether for God or not, but we're still DEFENDING what we can and helping those who also dream of the freedoms we take for granted everyday, im guilty of that myself, but if your trying to say God wouldn't bless those who put there lives on the line to defend other than im not sure which "god" your worshiping. You can worship what you want im not gonna put you down for it, but I believe that God gave us a way to defend those in danger through our military.

This was the DREAM OF DREAMS to me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to slip the surley bonds of Earth and dance the skies on laughter-silvered wings, emulating the fighter aces I’ve looked up to and flying the best fighter aircraft ever fielded.
Sadly, in spite of all the years spent learning about military aviation and physically/mentally preparing myself for the military life and going through MEPS several times, I was turned down on account of my Asperger’s and anxiety. This has been the bitterest pill I’ve ever had to swallow. Even so, I’ve chosen to continue with my life and focus on different career (research and writing, focusing on military and aviation history) while also taking steps to continue learning to fly privately (which I’ve started at 17). To all airmen everywhere, past, present & future, thank you for your service and inspiring me to aim high and reach for the highest of goals as I strive to spread my wings someday.

But believe me you have served and continue to serve in your own way. Never give up, keep aiming for the Skies! Be safe, God bless, and love you! Shepstang, while you are still too young to enlist into the Air Force, it is never too early to start preparing. There are a few things you can do now to prepare for once you reach the required age. First study hard and graduate from high school. Get the best grades you can in all subjects especially English, Math and Science. This will help you improve your score on the ASVAB test which is required for enlistment. Say no to drugs and get an early start on physical conditioning are important steps in the right direction. And stay out of trouble. Law violations can delay and in some cases will disqualify you from joining the Air Force and taking advantage of the opportunities available. Starting early and being prepared are your best shot. Stay in contact with your Guidance Counselor and maybe we will see you in a few years.

Man, this past year I've been so interested in the Air Force as a Junior in High School. When I'm old enough I will take a very long decision to decide if I should join. This was such an inspiring a awesome video, it makes me feel so much pride for our country.

God I hope I’m good enough. All I want is to call myself an airman. I speak to a recruiter in 2 weeks. I’m 35, and there are some hurdles to overcome to get to Sheppard, but I will stop at nothing to wear my wings. My mom Hugged me and cried. “I’m so proud of you. It’s about time you make something of yourself.” I promise mom, those tears will not be in vain. I will live integrity, service, excellence for the rest of my life, even if I don’t make it.
We still have the broken wings I gave my wife on graduation day and I have a picture of my toddler son wearing my helmet like in the video.
Soon I will a one of the best fighter pilots!

Good morning. That is awesome. General requirements to be a pilot:
US citizen
Applicants who are under the age of 33 and/or have less than 8 years of total federal commissioned service (TFCS) may apply in order to complete medical flight screening (MFS).
4 year college degree with at least a 2.5 GPA
Height specifications vary by aircraft and most applicants can successfully pursue a career in aviation with the US Air Force. Applicants who are significantly taller or shorter than average may require special screening to ensure they can safely perform operational duties. Applicants of all heights are encouraged to apply.
Vision will be evaluated.
Color vision is required
There are many possible paths you can take in pursuit of earning your wings. You could choose to get your degree on your own and apply for your commission following graduation. Or, you could choose to come on to active duty and let the Air Force pay up to 100% of your college tuition (effective 1 Oct 2002). You could gain valuable Air Force experience while getting your degree. Once you have obtained your degree, you may apply for your commission to be selected to become a pilot.
