@@NOOBLETS you might want to mention to WildCard, they might listen to you because you’re a content creator I don’t know, but there’s a bit of a glitch with the Noglin, turrets don’t shoot them.....meaning you could just put a c4 on its back and walk straight up to someone’s turrets and blow it. Major oversight on their part yet again....

I put a tent over it’s head and shoulder thus trapping it then opened the tent flap and shot it with tranq darts. I used raw mutton to tame it because there’s a lot of Ovid on this map, they’re literally everywhere where there’s Meawings. No, the tent trick I got from another Ark TH-camr. It was a bit of a fiddle to trap it, they need to be still for a moment and they seldom do that, but in the end I managed! I got silk from a loot drop, but HLNA sells it to if you need to make a tent, I already had the Ingram because I’d recently been on Scorched Earth.
Another method you can use is the cloak on a shadowmane and firing tranq arrows/ darts from the back of it. When i tried this a few times it will jump once, forget aggro and won’t jump after the first shot.

Now I can leave my baby dinos at my base knowing they're being taken care of. No more babysitting them for hours until they reach juvenile stage. I named my Maewing Nanny Dearest.
Add mate boosted female procoptodons in the mix to hold your babies for decreased food consumption too. Must be mate boosted, so at least one male and a female to hold every baby in its pouch. I'm pretty sure it does something else but I can't remember right now, decreasing food consumption is good enough on its own but I think it also might boost imprinting benefits.

Little trick I do to tame these early one with no resources is hit it with tranq and if you’re good at aiming you can hit it while it jumps an extra time while it jumps and then wait for it to get out of range and it will stop running away and act like it was never being shot. (This was on console might me different from pc)
Hey nooblets I have recently been taming maewing on gen 2 just by flying around with visor on.. when you shoot maewing the visor will show the maewing with a yellow outline showing its agro simply fly up and super boost following the maewing after a few seconds it will return to white outline and lose agro landing then once again you can shoot tranq and it only takes me 3 shots to knock out lvl 150! I'd love to see you try this method lol 😁
I use a rare flower and tank the damage with my dino, then tranq it with crossbow, you have enough time to tranq even a 150 one (although it might be able to take off and get unconscious during flight and then fall down)
Or get 3 wooden billboards, place one over its head so it can’t move then the other two around it so it can’t fly away then knock it out. I have so many maewings because of this method
I got my first maewing, by building a gate cage (3 in a triangular shape, they must have a gate filled in as they can fit through them,) then using 2 pillars , and ceiling to block off the top ( should not be completely sealed, but have a gap for a survivor). Once its sealed in you can buy rare flowers from HL-NA or use if you found them, lure it in and cage it. Since its a passive flee creature it will run away a few seconds after the effect wares off. Since you have the exo suit, you can then fly up through a gap you made earlier and tranq it. Take as long as you want, as these fluffs dont hurt anyone, and will stay in there cages. Edit: the only reason im typing this is because i noticed he used only honey for his traps
So(off this subject) , how do I get poop en mass? Phiomia's don't seem to exist on Gen 2. I'm setting up your old school dung beetle poop factory but am struggling finding a dino that I can "stimulate". Thx, for you content, Steve. Always so easy to follow :)
Hey nooblets to learn how to tame the other ones you should download an app on your phone called dododex i found out to tame a noglin you need to let it feed on your tames and you find on the ship i think
I do need the Rock Drake wall climb and dash. You can easily glide down a cliff and not have an easy way up, also it is hard to build up height. Its a great starter transport dino too, it wont reduce weight but it has decent scaling.

My friend made a trap with 4 billboards a floor with walls going 2 high and ceiling (however many it takes to cover the top), its just annoying to get it stuck with the billboards
If you could climb cliffs the drake would be pointless it’s only pro is that it can go invisible but the maewing is much smaller and faster and WAY easier to tame
I don’t know if u guys got the same issue, WTH is happening with the drops crate, all colors drops are the same which is primitive bp or gears even deep sea loot crate got the same issue since gen 2 came out, is this a bug ? I don’t get it

I knocked it out with a crossbow and fed it Mejoberries. Thing is adorable.
It will eat anything, but I hear mutton is best, if you don't have kibble.
I just shot one with a netgun, then tranqed it with my longneck, job done.
You have time even to ko it with primitive crossbow and net I ko a 156 on our server with tht

With my experience all you need is a net and a few Dino gates it was down in like 1 or 2 mins
@Emma you can’t transfer for like 2 or 3 months

After testing out the noglin in single player and seeing how OP it is, I would absolutely love to see how to tame them next

I just chased it with the Tek suit you're given. It loses agro very quickly.
Don't over think it, you can easily follow it with your Federation Tek Suit, my friend and I tamed 2 easily with crossbows

I legit just tamed a lvl 60 with the Tek suit and my fists. With a proper longneck this would be insanely easy for high level

I think there is a knock out function with the tek pistol that you spawn with, so you don’t really need narco arrows or tranq darts
You spawn with a tek suit only no tek pistol + Tek pistol doesn't have a tranq mode it has stun heal kill only

It's a nice little mount and surprisingly quick, but it's a shame they can't climb. Really limits their use.
