Quiin Gumi Well for the placing of the eyeshadow it is easier to have both lids... That may be why she uses the tape so much, I think if it wasn't for an eyeshadow makeup like this one is, she wouldn't use it😉
Universe Shawol yes I understand and respect it, people do whatever they want, but I saw a lot of asian complaining about their monolid (maybe she is not one of them idk not all Asians hate monolid) and it's sad because it's just what make them beautiful and so attractive. I'm more sad of it when it comes to lid plastic surgery.
but still I do respect people who do that, 😊
yeah it's a shame, although monolids can make eyes look smaller compared to double eyelids, monolids can look just as beautiful. unfortunately it seems that it's a very common beauty standard in asia to have double eyelids (via surgery or tape, glue, etc.)
I'm really into how versatile monolids in tandem with tape, you can create soooo many eyelid shapes! Want slanted eyes? Bam. How about kinda sleepy? Bam.
Ikr, people say I'm lucky because I don't have mono lids but like, monolids can be beautiful in its own way too!

What function does placing tape on the eyelid serve? I think I'm a doofus.
She has a monolid which means that she does not have a "double eyelid" like most females in the west have. I believe that she is an Asian, and that means that she must have geneticly inherited the monolid. placing the tape on the eye lid will create a crease whenever she opens her eye.
