scientifically, there is no difference between cosmetic and art glitter. Both are made out of small plastic bits, and while it may hurt, you won't go blimd because of it

Please please please be careful when putting glitter on or around your eyes! Art glitter is different to cosmetic glitter because it's often made of glass, and if it gets into your eyes you can go blind. Please be careful!

This is such a beautiful look! For safety reasons, I would really caution using art glitter around your eyes (: If a piece were to get caught in your eye, there is a potential for it to scratch your cornea and cause permanent damage/infection (there was also a viral story about someone who lost her entire eyeball to one piece of glitter!)

Mr. Robot I know you posted this a while ago, but to give a little more explanation, craft glitter is usually made of metal, which has sharp edges. Cosmetic grade glitter is plastic and much finer with edges that are less sharp. You can also find biodegradable glitters which are made from seaweed.
I've rewatched this tutorial like 50 times. At this point I could probably recite the entire look by heart.

I love the makeup look, but I want to warn everyone here that it is NOT ADVISABLE TO USE ART/CRAFT GLITTER NEAR YOUR EYES.
They could potentially damage your cornea or worse because they are cut in a way that may have sharp edges and shards. Please please please use **makeup glitter** that says "eye safe" on the package. Some people have had serious damage done to their eyeballs (Google it for horrifying images) from a single scratch from craft glitter. Please be safe because eyeballs are not replaceable if you want to see!

Probably just a personal preference. Some people prefer not to put their entire face on TH-cam, one I know is ASMR PPOMO. She just doesn't want her face online. Probably the same or a similar case.
