Kangaroos are mostly found on open forest and grasslands, which are also valued as commercial livestock (cattle/sheep) farming. This kind of country, privately owned, is not open to setting trail cams, and the openness also does not offer security for 3 months camera siting. The wallabies (small kangaroos) I do have are to be found within an hour of where I live.
