Late afternoon walk on the Dozer Track part 1 D'Aguilar National Park this walk is a circuit walk starting and finishing at McAfees Lookout carpark. At the start I walked 100m on the side of the bitumen road, and another 250m at the end of the walk. This is a pleasant walk through open Eucalypt forest. If you enjoy a steep descent and climb, this is for you. Part 1 is getting to the dozer track...
Mt May walk part 4 of 4 parts

Part 4 The walk down to Waterfall Creek Road starts immediately on the right when the flat hilltop is reached. I walked 50 metres along the flat topped ridge, looking for the way down which I had forgotten, before coming back. The rock step 30 metres down the track will confirm you are on the right way. I got down the rock step with one hand on the camera, so it can't be too bad. It took 20 min...

Part 3 I had a bit of a grovel on the climb up from the saddle to the southern Mt May peak, as (once again) I did not have a helmet cam or pack an alligator grip to anchor my GoPro to my daypack chest strap. This scramble would be a little scary in wet weather. The climb up from the saddle ends on a flat hilltop. Two metres after reaching flat ground, a walking trail joins on the right (17:00 o...

Part 2 The walk continues onto the northern Mt May peak. The descent to the saddle should be undertaken with care. At no time should the walker be near any exposed cliffs. Maintaining a constant distancing of 10m or so from the huge western cliffs, and proceeding along the vegetation line should get you down safely. The video (part 2) finishes at the saddle. Blacksoil Road part 1 and 2 D'Aguilar NP This walk follows Blacksoil Road down to Enoggera Creek, then rockhops down the creek to Hell Hole Break road. The walk follows the Hell Hole Break uphill for 10 minutes, then follows a faint overgrown track back to Blacksoil Road., and onto the original start.

@@larcomhill9199 Yes, it's a very rugged area unfortunately. But at least it keeps the crowds away. I hiked to that waterfall along Byron Ck from Peggs Rd and didn't see anyone. It's actually not too hard to climb down that little track on the side of the waterfall. Your videos are really helpful. I'm so.pleased I found your TH-cam channel. The answer is "Most likely". The easiest way to tell if it's a mine site is that there will be debris or referred to "Mullock" or "Tailings" that have been removed from the excavation. I can tell you that there are a couple of nice old mine pits just off Mango Tree Break. One to the north of Pipe Road & one to the south. Also go for a walk along Dead Cat and you'll find an absolute classic mine pit. (I've done a few TH-cam videos out that way. And I've got another that I'll upload very soon.). There are heaps of mines in that area.

Dee, in Vol 1 click on "show more" for ID of animals. In the world of trail cameras as a subset of wildlife photography it seems that feeding your targeted wildlife is "fake" and "staged". I admit I have tried rotten grain as a pig attractant (did not work) and a bone wired to a tree as a Dingo (wild native australian dog( attractant (did not work) Thanks for your interest
