My Morning With Jesus (and Family)

- I’ve wanted to make a morning routine video for a long time, but every morning is so different. Sometimes my mornings with Jesus are alone and quiet, sometimes there are a million things happening. On April 13th, I decided to document the entire morning, and try to re-enact it with my families help. This is almost exactly what happened :D
My hope is you get to see a little of what my quiet time is like, and also that it’s possible to have quiet time with Jesus, while very much being part of a family. 😊
Some explanations -
- The 'God voice' is just for representation :D
- I am not a morning person, so it takes a long time for me to open my mouth xD Hence many (inner voices) :)
- ‘George’ is someone we were praying for the previous night 😊
- I have a caffeine allergy and love coffee. So it's just a tiny bit of coffee a day for me! :D That much doesn't affect me.
- 'Haven' is our fellowship :) we share devotions.
- I am not so patient, nor is Kitsy so talkative always :D it was one of those days :)
- I sing all the time in my brain, and the bathroom is one of my favorite places hehe. No offense meant to the song shown there. That's one of my favorite performances of all time!
- Johann is a little edgy without tablets, and he needs to take them after food. He’s typically a sweetheart 😊
- The song at the end was actually composed that morning, and more freestyling was done on the spot while recording.
- The Old Testament laws are given by God, but we’ve been given a new covenant in Jesus Christ. Some of the verses in Ezekiel 44 don’t apply today because of that new covenant.

That part at the beginning where God said "wake up" ...that's literally how it is for me too! I remember one morning recently. I clearly heard, "Get up, turn on the lamp, pick up your bible and read."
It's so so wonderful when He's the first person we get to hear in the morning...and then sometimes, He would ask me to write down what I learnt from the scripture for day. Sometimes, later in the day, He'd ask me if I still remember what I read early in the morning and then it turns into a conversation. Amazing!

I have too but I'm relocating. I had to get a new phone and everything and the only contacts I have is my mom and brother. No lie! I had disappeared from friends whom I still love but serving God is a solo journey without distractions. You need to be away from those associates who like to hang all the time. Sometimes you'll have to go ghost. Now if you have a family and children you can still do it, just set a time out for god. And train yourself to step away from entertainment. I'll start by fasting

That’s a huge stretch, people move their hands and fingers when they speak all the time, and look at all she’s doing every day to encourage people in their faith.
@holy league Exactly! He guides us to the TRUTH and he showed me that she is deceiving many and not a genuine follower of Christ. Just looking out for everyone, I do not want people to be mislead by her as I was. Her “god” is not the same God we worship!
