Greenfield eventually went to IndyCar as a owner-driver, had a brutal accident at Nazareth that pretty much offset his career, eventually recovered and came back and did a couple of one-off races for Dale Coyne, then tried to enter the Indy 500, again as a driver-owner, with a pushrod engine similar to the 400i Illmor/Mercedes-Benz and the Menard/Buick V6 that failed miserably then fell off the face of the earth completely.
I was at this race with my dad. That weekend was with Trans Am and Paul Newman got his first Trans Am win. My dad bought Scott Goodyear's Ralt RT-4. Greenfield practiced at 46.9 which wasn't done again for 25 years. I believe Stimola was running Chris Clark at that race
What ever happened to the cars? I remember when they sold them. The guy bought the trailer and both cars. I always wondered how he did racing them. I had some good memories working on the Team that year. The guys were like family.
@@whatsup7342 Not sure nowadays. My dad bought one of Scott's cars from Ed Healy in Massachusetts. Then sold it to a guy in PA in 1993 when he bought a DB-4.
I was wondering if anyone had the 1998 Mid Ohio runoffs race for the SSB race, it was awesome and I got an interview, all of my vhs race tapes got overdone with disney stuff, oh well, any help would be great to find the old SpeedVision archives Thanks jj
I saw Calvin Fish at Lime Rock last year at the IMSA races. He had stepped out of the press room to get a bite at the food stand.
