Omg this is my absolute favorite show! My son got me the entire DVD collection, including the never aired pilot & the Lucy & Desi shows after the series ended. This is what TV needs to be again.
When I was a kid my folks would watch this show. It was on around 830 or 9 on Monday nights, perfect timing since few establishments were open at that hour on Mondays back then. Genius writers and dialogue coaches. Yet the real geniuses were the ones who made the characters come alive: Lucy, Vivian, Desi and William.
WOW ! I LOVE THIS CHANNEL ! I used to see LUCY every day on TV. Our cable service doesn't show LUCY. Back in the day...I LOVE LUCY was on EVERY DAY at 9 am 😊❤
The fabulous 50s-- when housewives could stay home and bake ginormous 🍞, play canasta with their best friend, keep the home but still have some zany fun, be with kids, etc......
I MUST SAY THIS EPISODE WAS VERY VERY FUNNY 🤣 I would have had the cake come out of the oven like a rocket or the oven being damage from to much bread.
Even as a young child, I thought this particular scene was so stupid. It didn’t hold true to any logic, given the depth of an oven. It was funny up to the point that it came out of the oven though.
I miss those shows those were the days of clean humor, not the trash we see today.
