The Orabrush is the best I’ve used as the brush gets so much crap off, then you scrape. I love it. Brilliant.
I actually just bought two that look at exactly like what dentist likes the best and it works great - I like Olivia’s choice too and will look for that one too
Thorough video. Give us links to these various products. Thanks for explaining the various kinds of scrapers. I just bought the copper scraper and am beginning tongue scraping today.
Nice! I think I’ll go with the sweeper.
Thank you
Your generosity towards my bad breath is incomparable, you assured me of getting healed just within 2 months and it was so. Thanks a lot Dr Emovon on TH-cam I will keep letting the world know about your good work and about your TH-cam channel.✊🏿✊🏿
I use the Orabrush, it works very well.
Great vid, thanks guys.
Thank you Dr osuma for your care and natural healing I’m totally free from the bad breath ,the body oduor
Can you tell me where to purchase the ones you are recommending please.
I have been using a small normal spoon as tongue scraper for years now. It was long before they invented these things. I stick with my spoon. It's very effective. It literally shows me how happy (or not) my body was the night before.
I concur. Do you use the spoon before or after brushing?
I’ve started to use a spoon also. Easy, cheap and dishwasher safe!
after probably@@bloatedsodium7301
A Spoon.... really!!!
And it works effectively?
@@dianacoulson4724 - I'm thinking not... it wouldn't be able to get back as far, at the right angle. Also not very wide (but maybe you're only gonna use it sideways with the side of the spoon and not getting the back of the tongue).
Edge roundness is also a factor. Some spoons have very rounded edges that won't scrape very well at all; others can be a very sharp edge and would scrape as well as you need it to, at least on the areas it can properly reach.
I ate a share size sour skittles bag by myself and used a tongue scraper to peel the top layer of my tongue off all in one piece
Did it hurt?
@@mattw4496 low medium hurt its tolerable
Taste the rainbow 🌈
did your tounge turn pink
@@terg8472 no lol
Thank you! 🤗!!
Great video, Dr. Nemeth! It's insightful to see how different designs can effectively reduce bacteria and improve oral health, aligning with Kriss AI's emphasis on the importance of regular tongue cleaning for fresher breath and better overall hygiene.
Mind if I ask what Kriss AI is? Is it an app I can download?
I never used tongue scraper before, but i think i'll use it now, btw what is kriss ai???
@@soposhhh1122 Kriss ai is an advanced AI assistant designed specifically for dental practices, helping to improve communication between dentists and patients by providing real-time . just recently found about it as well.
@@soposhhh1122 I saw in the comments that some people use teaspoon as a DIY tounge scraper. Maybe you can try that first 😂 (just kidding) I wonder what would kriss say about that tho 🤭
Oh, thank you for this, Doctor. I've never used a tongue scraper, but now I think I should buy one... haha, also curious about that Kriss chatbot.
Can gum disease cause nasal/sinu breath? What is the cause of odor from nose?
Awesome video! 👏Can somebody tell me what cleaning technique is the most effective in cleaning the tongue scraper? 🤔
hi, i asked this at kriss ai and it said that you should rinse it immediately after use, use disinfectant, rinse thoroughly, sanitize it, dry it the store it properly.
@@shyrahgail Thank you for sharing.
The dual handed model has been used in India since very long
Give us some links to these products
Where state it is?
I have been using Breathrx to gue scraper forever. It is made of plastic. What do you think about this one?
I think he's pretty pretty close to being indifferent about all tongue scrapers lol.
lol judging by the video and comments.. all tongue scrapers successfully scrape tongues. 🥳
Hi Mr doctor I have a question and I hope you answare me, why we need to use tongue scrapper while others do not need it?
The tongues are deferent or what reason is for this problem?
Everyone can use a tongue scraper, but some mouths have more build-up on their tongues 👅
copper tongue scrapers hands down the best.
Peak Essentials and Orabrush are way better than all of these combined. Any flat hard brush works better to scrub tongue.
A long handle teaspoon, every home has one. It's free and good
It wouldn't be able to get back as far, at the right angle.
Works good for me
@@johndorney4888 Since my comment I have more experience with metal tongue scrapers, and yea a spoon can definitely work just fine. Ideally it's a wide spoon. It's just that it's going to be a pretty weak scrape, due to the angle the spoon will be at. Which can be good enough for some.
@@Siberius- I'm a good scraper, also a real good tonsil stone picker. Ask my tongue and tonsils
@@johndorney4888 - I'll ask them if I miraculously come across them in the future.
Just use a teaspoon it's antibacterial and easy to keep in your bathroom with your floss and tooth brush😁
What about the bacteria on part of the tongue that is inside the throat? What about bacteria in intestines?
Tape on a bamboo plant stake for a longer handle.
Mouthwash

Not all bacteria are bad.
I just use my toothbrush to gentle clean my tongue
All you’re doing is spreading the bacteria, not taking it off.
Best money investment!! ... I laugh at my husband when he wants a piece of gum to freshen his breath 👅
I just use a teaspoon...
Can you just use your toothbrush to brush your tongue after brushing your teeth.
There are actually toothbrushes with built-in scrapers on the back if you have trouble finding or affording tongue scrapers.
Isn’t effective
All you’re doing is spreading the bacteria, not taking it off.
If you use a “soft” bristle toothbrush which is what dentists usually suggest so as not to wear down your tooth enamel, it will not do the job of removing the biofilm and gunk from your tongue, so no, it won’t work well! And toothbrushes that have the nubs on the backside for tongue cleaning don’t work well because the brush head is too small. I have always cleaned my tongue when I brush my teeth, that’s just how I was raised. I personally prefer and use the Orabrush that he showed in the video. It is plastic with silicone and the silicone bristles and I find it works well for me. It takes just a few passes (of course, everyone has a different size tongue) and I get my tongue nice and clean and start my day with a clean palette! I brush and use it morning and night and haven’t had cavities for years! The Orabrush isn’t too expensive, maybe $4-6, but you can check Dollar stores, if you have them where you live.
I have had and used the metal tongue scrapers but find them too hard and can hurt or damage taste buds. But that’s just me! Maybe I’m scraping too hard.
It's not very effective. I did it ever since day one, but I realized that I should buy Tongue Scraper.
Why can't I just scrape with my toothbrush.
Toothbrushes just spread the bacteria, not take it off.
