Mike and I returned with the high banker to the spot we prospected in the previous video for a 3 day trip. We sluiced for 2 days, did some sniping, found a nugget, got epic gold and had a great time!
Great looking machine.✅ Maybe the beer bandits were watching you pack your equipment down to the creek.🤔😡. Lots of good color. Thanks for sharing this adventure.😎👍👍👌👌⛏⛏
Nice results for two days of highbanking! I just purchased a Gold Hog setup very similar to yours and am headed out to Maine in two days to try it out. Today I purchased a game camera to set up by my truck in case some low life tries to mess with my stuff!
For the amount of material it can handle, I’m not sure there’s a much better style high banker out there. Gold Hog has worked great for me. Great idea with the game cameras!
That's really sad they stole your stuff I hope they have terrible luck for a year! But great stuff just got the piglet I like how ya got lots of videos with it!
Good work guys. Nice gold for your effort. About the low lives, when you work with gold you will have criminals. Many stories about miners getting ripped off and killed or badly assaulted. Be real careful. Good to have a dog with you. Hell will be full of these scum. Use older vehicles when mining and hide your batteries.
Bad ass set up ya guys had down there. Lools like alot of fun. I'm out there on the yuba alot myself so hope to run into you guys out there or maybe we can set a meet up some time. I have a bug ass highbanker myself but I tend to not take it to often cause the rules are so vague about it. Is it legal and good to run your highbanker out there? I was always told.ot had to be like 300 feet or some shit from the river and have to have it's own settling pond before it can run back into the river. What's the rules on that?? Oh and FUCK those thieving ass tweekers that took your guys stuff. Would he nice to catch em in the act and throw em off the fucking hillside. Lol. But yea if ya guys could give me the 411 on the rules of the highbanking I'd really appreciate it. Heavy pans and keep up the good work.. I 👍👌
The regs are vague, but our BLM guy, I think his name is Mike, is pretty cool and easy to talk to. You have to have some kind of settling pond. He told me as long as it’s not going directly back into the river it’s ok. He recommended either digging a small hole or being far enough so the rocks can filter it a bit. I usually just run it in a pretty remote spot or in the winter. Just to avoid the “grey area”. I was running on the north yuba once and an off duty fish and game guy hiked by. He looked at my setup with kind of a confused look and said “you’re not dredging right?” I said, nope I’m high banking. He watched me for a second and kept hiking.
@@libertymining5728 Rite on. Glad to hear. And 6ea that's what I do is always just set up a ways up the bank and make sure my water is going through rocks and alot dirt or usually I test and find a good spot and soon as I find that spot I fill a bunch of h8xkets or dig and throw it all into one huge pile and the set uo the highbanker and use that hole as a settling pond. A grey area indeed but they cant do shit if your doing what the rules say ya know. Love your guys videos tho bro. Very good editing and great all around footage. What part of the yuba are you guys working? Of course not exact location but was curious of it was the north or south yuba. I'm always out on the south yuba is why I ask be cool to run into ya guys. Anyways keep the awsome videos coming and heavy pans bro.
