That is the reason the farm laws were enacted. But people like Rakesh Tikait, rich farmers from Punjab/Haryana opposed it. Really unfortunate.
We adopts mulching since 2016 yes it is costly but increases yeild almost 30-50% good product 👍

4. They don't manufacture these products, they source them.
Big agricultural companies have deep pockets, they can just destroy them at source. This business will fail miserably.

100 cr valuation is crazy, there are lot of natural mulching materials available like agriculture waste. Awareness is very less. Polythene mulching is already banned in some area as over a period time micro plastic get into soil. I don't think it's for cause, it's just another business.

I am farmer, we use mulching after one crop we burned it ,its very light, burn in seconds, by watching this I just know that sharks are not that much big sharks, coz they didnt even ask pitchers that how this mulching is better than normal, and when they said that they will buyback used mulching what will it cost ,
The actual pitches are of 90 minutes they ( director ) cut out all the technical part and show us the masala part at the end of the day this just a entertainment show .
They might have asked, the conversation usually goes on for hours before giving any deal. But while uploading they trim it to few minutes.
Noone will invest a single rupee without asking everything thoroughly.
May be none of them has any idea in farming...they are investors,risk is when investing in the business where there is no expertise but profitable... expertise is still a must

@@Gill_K_481 initially yes. New Technology /advancement will always reach the select few initially, then after years due to trickle down, economies of scale due to invisible hand (basically market economics) will reach more farmers.

Worst idea to have come out of such an education. There is no doubt that complex inroganic molecules will leach down to the roots and will get accumulated into fruits/produce.
