Much missed in F1. Never took himself, or the more frivolous aspects of the sport, too seriously and a very quick, tough and consistent competitor. And a brilliant ambassador for the sport. A fabulous interview, thanks.

What a Lovley interview. No interruptions, well prepared and well thought out questions. Jenson speaks so well, you could listen to him for hours.
I have never met Jenson of his dad, but I know people that have and they speak very highly of them both, as some one else said Jenson is a fine world champion and remains a credit to the sport.
It was said that his dad was the most popular person in the pit lane, and used to spend time within all the teams, not just Jenson’s team. When Jenson retired from his last proper race (not the Monaco stand in for Fernado) the whole pit lane, and every team member applauded him home. You don’t see that for other drivers

Hey Jenson you may probably never see this mesage but i think it is amazingly special for a father to see his son achieve something so amazing like winning the F1 world championship the feeling of pride for his son is something words cant describe! I have a son and i know even if he doesnt achieve anything in his life i will still love him with all my heart! and i have no doubt you loved your dad and he loved you with all his heart and you treated him to a world championship and of course he was there to help you get there so i cant imagine how amazing the feeling was for both of you! in that moment of achievement we the people can only be so happy for you and your dad and everyone that helped you achieve that championship well done and great respect to you and your dad and the whole team! amazing!!!

I never like this guy from seeing him in f1 but having watched this short video I must say my opinion has changed completely, what a very humble gentleman he is.
As said before, pressuring him into talking about the loss of his father is dreadful and that quote in the book regarding his farther is extremely moving.

Pressuring him to talk about how his dad died? Really? And yes I've been there if you don't want to talk about it, you don't want to talk about it.
