This may be a silly question but do horses recognize their babies after they've been separated for so long? I want to say the answer is yes since they're such smart animals but watching their behaviors was a little confusing to me. I've seen videos of horses being separated for years and reuniting and being super excited but idk, something about babies just made me wonder if it's any different. Baby tic tac has changed so much since she saw her last!

People say that they usually do recognize since they are smart and usually recognize things that they have been with before a lot!
Horses memorize scents. Although, like humans, horses sometimes have bad memories. But usually they will remember their children.
