Another great song from Aurora. Her vocal on this is stunning and she uses every bit of air in her lungs to convey her desperation. Enjoyed this video and look forward to more! Keep cool my friend....

Some more Aurora is never wrong😊. I think I ruined this version for myself a bit as I listened to the Honda Stage version first. Lovely version with a fun quirky introduction before the song (great concert with a great version of "Runaway"). That being said, this one is definitely growing on me! When you mentioned Aurora catching all the beautiful things around us, I realized you never reacted to "Everything Matters". Great song from her latest album, and the "Live on RHYTHM BY MODZIK" version is really nice.

Beautiful song, her singing and her layered own backing vocals are really gorgeous. One of the few songs that I almost like as much in the studio version than live .
That said, here are two live versions, awesome too in their own way, to check out privately if you wish:
Aurora - I Went Too Far (Live on the Honda Stage): th-cam.com/video/Y2AqeH1GPs4/w-d-xo.html
20160629 - AURORA - I Went Too Far, Live at Roskilde Festival (Nordic Playlist): th-cam.com/video/46UQv5rfSd0/w-d-xo.html
And about the meaning of the song, here are some of her own words:🙂
Aurora explains I went too far Song: th-cam.com/video/CQFH2dKKd38/w-d-xo.html
Anyway, nice reaction to Aurora, this wonderful and yearning singing story teller.🙂👍

Beyond loving nature, her music is considerate of life and humanity, and the general things we're all dealing with. You can tell that she's a person who has spent a lot of time ignoring distractions, ignoring the internet, and giving herself a real chance to sit down and consider life and emotions... whereas most of us are often trying to distract ourselves away from thinking / dealing with these things, letting them linger without resolution or experience in learning to deal with them.

I loved her vocals in the chorus - you can hear the aching reach in her voice.

Great reaction Bob! I definately want you to check out this same song at her concert on the Honda stage in 2016, see it live and with her band. Well worth your time I think.

I love AURORA. She has such a different "feel" than most of the other artists that I listen to. It's always special to hear a new song (at least to me) from her.

Hello, Bob. Great reaction. But I have to disappoint you that I have absolutely no clue what all this wonderfulness meant either...LOL It has been boggling my mind since it released.
It's good to see you react to one of my favorite artists again, I have to say. I feel like it's been an eternity tbh. You know that I'm a BIG Angelina fan, and I will write a separate comment about her, as I think you will find it interesting. Take care, Bob! Norway out.

Great reaction to Aurora, as always. I subscribed to your channel a long time ago (us older folks have to support each other, lol) for your Aurora reactions, she is my favorite artist, the only one I watch reactions of. I love this song, one of my many many favorites of hers. I also experienced her live, May 2022, it was awesome. See you on the next Aurora reaction.

I honestly wouldn't be too hard on yourself for not "getting the meaning" of ANY art.
Maybe it's because I'm a huge David Lynch fan, but he talks about how the best art often affects you the same way as a really powerful profound dream. It *_means_* a tremendous amount to you....but you can't exactly say *_what_* it means. But you know you feel it, and you know it's real and matters. Often there _are_ depths of meaning in such art(and dreams) and it can be fun and fascinating to delve into that over time. But initially at least, I don't think there's anything wrong with simply basking in the glow of how much it means to you, even if you don't know what it means.
I can still recall certain dreams from years ago that were SO unbearably profound and meaningful to me....but I literally cannot explain it in any narrative sense. It's almost like those dreams contained a truth so profound and ineffable that it would change the world if spoken out loud....but it's forever on the tip of my tongue, juuust out of reach.
OR.....Aurora is wearing black/white and climbing a ladder cuz _Illuminati Confirmed!_ >_< ;P

Hello again, Bob! As promised in my first comment, here is something Angelina related. And NOW, my dear friend, you REALLY have to listen to me, because I bring you a small treasure trove. I don't know if you knew already, but on December 23rd 2021, when she was 15 years old, she held a live, digital Christmas concert. My absolute FAVOURITE performance by Angelina happened on that very concert. (That should tell you something😉). Quite recently. that one and another one of her performances from that concert have been uploaded on TH-cam. My absolute favourite is her cover of Lauren Daigle's You Say, and the other one is her performance of The Christmas Song. If you're not familiar with the original You Say by Lauren, I really think that you should listen to it on your own time before you react to Angelina's version, as it will open your senses to her performance in a great way. Lauren's lyrics are crystal clear, whereas Angelina's can be a bit slurry, the way that Angelina often does. I will at least try to add links to both songs from the concert, and fingers crossed that they don't get removed together with my comment.
    You Say : th-cam.com/video/0cFVdIj3tU0/w-d-xo.html
    The Christmas Song : th-cam.com/video/M7vtkWfkEVY/w-d-xo.html
Have a great week ahead! Much love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥

The person is in a toxic relationship in which the person longs for love and seeks attention but does not get. Eventually, she manages to end this relationship and look for someone new to give her what she's missing. But since many follow a certain pattern and sometimes even this toxicity is missing, they choose the same type of person again and end up back where they have already been.
This is also exactly what the video shows.
In the end, she is back in the cave she just climbed out of.
In the video, the water is the enemy she tries to escape. In the cave she is surrounded by it. She climbs out and is freed from it. She is looking for someone new and touches the water again of her own free will in the hope that it will be different, but ends up back where she started.

thanks for the music reaction. laik Aurora. natural talent. I'm from Norway . and one of the most popular group in Norway is Karpen. More oslo city music day. hip-hop duo. ( excuse my bad English . ( dyslexic ) . they are second generation immigrants . grew up in Norway . with parents from Egypt and India . sing in Norwegian . dialect that cold kebab Norwegian . They have been doing musik for about 20 years now. The song is often about the relationship between the parents' / family's culture and Norwegian / Norwegian culture.
Wish you could react to a cover song which is originally an old Tunisian song. well known in North Africa. they have made their version of it in norwegan. concert from oslo spektrum. sang cold RAF. August 2022.

Before performing this song, Aurora always says "Never forget that you deserve to be loved just as much as you love someone else." It's about self love.

6:28 this is not the bridge If I'm not mistaken, but is in fact the post-chorus of the song, while 6:49 is the bridge of the song.

You know, if you did _nothing but_ Aurora reactions from now on... -everyone- _I_ would love it lol... Thanks for this! :)
I'm glad you chose the video for this song. 80% of her songs work best live. But...a select few are better as studio tracks, imo. This song, Apple Tree, Forgotten Love, The River, and Winter Bird I think sound best as the album tracks. While Lucky, Under Stars, Little Boy in the Grass, It Happened Quiet, ADKoH, and IoaDK all sound better live...especially particular performances. Then there's songs like Soulless Creatures and All is Soft Inside that sound great in either scenario. Gah.....I think way too much about this stuff, don't I? lol... >_
