Emma instead of replacing felt for shed roofs use pond linner lasts so much longer than felt in the long run felt breaks down and deterates in a few years where as pond linner lasts 10 to 15 years depending on quilty . Great vid all the best.
HI Emma l like your DIY its very much how l would do it and ask Dave for your ladders back lol love the mummy way you look after the baby peppers seedlings take care see you soon Thank you xx
Well done with the shed, looks like you didn't come off to bad with the winds. I have a jalapeno plant in the polytunnel that I started last year, it seems to be doing well. I left it out for the summer and brought it in the polytunnel once it got colder. I did read they can last up to 5-6 years
Well done Emma. Just back from my plot and as I haven’t been there due to a sprained, swollen ankle for nearly 2 weeks I was desperate to be there. It looked 👍 ok, even the 4 compost bin lids were still on. I’d lost my archways a few weeks ago but salvaged most of one archway to do the pumpkin grow along with you. It’s a bit shorter but will do on a bed, not to walk under though! Can’t wait for March/ April seed sowing time in North Yorkshire. Take care. X
Great job Emma repotting the pepper plant i would never re plant mine if it only had the first leaves i always wait untill I have two true leaves that way the plant remains strong hats off to ya for managing to repot so early
Great little fix to the shed roof. Buys you time to get some felt for it. Garlic looks ok will grow back strong. Just keep it weed free and there do fine.
Fantastic allotment diary video Emma. Great to get the Shed fixed. Hopefully there's no more storms. We're enduring storm Gladly in Scotland which means we have had 4 storms within a week. I think it's climate change/global warming that's causing these storms being more frequent and extreme. Keep warm, well, safe and happy gardening.
Hi Emma, just read your views on Weeds in Kitchen Garden magazine and really enjoyed reading your thoughts. Loved the idea of the weeds being spectators watching the performing plants grow, almost as if they are ready to take over as an understudy, should the main artist weaken.
You are an intrepid gardener Emma! I worry about you on that chair! The garlic will be fine. Someone suggested using pond liner which is a great idea. I wanted some good ground cover but didn’t want to pay a fortune and got a large sheet from Screwfix approx. £8.99 which might be worth investigating.

I'm going to knock my alllotment shed down. It's very old and rotting away. I will replace it with a greenhouse instead.

A fix is a fix Emma, however good or bad it is, it is a start and better than leaving it to the elements...Steve...😃

You might be better waiting for your seedlings to develop a couple of real leaves before transplanting, Emma.. They're doing well though 👏
