You are right that getting an allotment can change a lot of things in your lifestyle. What you eat, the amount of exercise you do, the contentment you get for being in nature and a different approach to life. It is really an amazing life choice.
I just came across your channel today. Your such a comedian. Loved watching you, love your sense of humour. Your a breath of fresh air. You’d cheer up any cloudy rainy day. Definitely a new fan of yours. 💜🌻
Oh Emma you do make me 😆🤣😂😁 such a sweetheart you are.Yes the rain l get a lot of the wet stuff 😏 that's why l tend to have the odd magazine or gardening book laying about...l put my feet up and enjoy the sound of the rain on my shed....quite happy to sit in the quiet, very therapeutic.Thankyou for sharing 🌱🌱🌱💕
You are my most favourite person on TH-cam and your allotment is just looking 🤩! I had a little chuckle when you found your ☂️, exactly the kind of thing I would do!
You are funny Emma, you had your umbrella all the time! Still, I reckon you enjoyed your time in the shed watching the rain and chatting to us. I really hope you did decide to take those sprouts home in the end cos you can still eat the leaves as they're just like spring greens and tasty stir fried as well. I've taken to roasting almost all my vegetable these days, or stir frying them. I even roast squash in its skin along with olive oil garlic salt pepper etc as it goes all soft and is much easier to remove or I just eat it as it's nice and probably full of vitamins like potato skins. I must have been bloody mad all these years peeling and boiling when now my veg like yours is much tastier cooking it other ways. I also no longer peel spuds for roasting I just give the skins a good old wash and dry, cut them up stick them in a pan of of olive oil and butter, get it hot, Chuck the spuds in and they go all crispy, especially the skins. So Bobs your uncle and Fanny's your aunt... lol. Great blog as usual. xxxx
Hello love, I just love your sense of humor, I always have a big smile watching your videos. I can really appreciate how nice your plot looks after a rain. All the wood chips you put down look so good and there is no mud or slop to walk through. Have a great day blessings bye for now
Since fox attack on my allotment chicken I havent went there plus it was freezing than raining today.I really wanting to put broadbeens and peas seeds i,maybe next week .
Well, you certainly made the best out that downpour 😉 Your sprouts certainly look better than anything I've ever grown - so yes, that is officially a sprout 👍🏻
I used to enjoy sheltering in the allotment shed in a downpour and getting the kettle on . I used to eat the blown sprouts along with the tops of the plant .Maybe start digging an escape tunnel 😂
Yes, Emma is right it's not raining it's a downpour. At least Emma's somewhere dry. Thankfully she got out of the shed before her husband calls out a search party or reports Emma missing to the police🤣
Ahh that's made my day, should of looked in your bag as you might of had a plastic bag in there to put your sprouts in. Looking forward to the next one. X
Emma, you are a girl after my own heart. That is totally me having an umbrella the entire time. And I kept looking at the hoodie on your jacket saying “why don’t she just put hoodie on?”, after you mentioned not wanting your hair to get wet. Girl, you are too funny 😂🤣.
Finally I got the answer of how your veggies survives when you water them so little.... You have got springs!!!!! Unfair.... Thanks for wearing the fox jumper today, it made my day.......You are quite funny looked up and Girl, you hava a beutiful voice
