Listening to this song gives me so much nostalgia from when I watched this movie in theaters. No joke, the first several minutes after it finished and I walked out, I felt like I was transported to a different world and became a different girl. I can’t express it exactly into words. It was as if the atmosphere of the movie’s world bled into mine. This adaptation added so much things yet removed so much small precious moments from the original. Like, in the original it was the Beast who admitted in such a sad tone that he loves Belle, but in the adaptation Mrs. Potts said it... I audibly sighed and shook my head when that moment came in the adaptation. So the adaptation, to me, stands roughly on equal footing to the original for adding so much gorgeous things to it (Like Prince Adam’s backstory and Belle’s backstory) that I never knew I wanted... yet removed things and moments from the original that have equal amounts of importance to me. Personally, movies are drastically separate but I love them both the same. I’ll make a mental note to watch both movies at least twice every year.

My grandpa was a World War 2 veteran in the Pacific theater of the war in the battle of Guam and he died in 2001 and that was long before I was born but i my mom was talking about the day he died and he said to my mother sweetie i don't want to die and that hit he bad in my mind and i think is sad is that i think my grandpa was scarred by the horrors of war and this song reminds me of Grandpas fear of death and i have the same fear as him and this song reminds me of him because the lyric but we have to know some bad times reminds me of his time in the War
