Rootkraken boss is way harder than video makes it out to be. Was very tough as 5 man team of 700 & 800s. Seeds are a must for the final boss and you must bring your own. We used 15 seeds to finish the boss.
I dont think there is such thing, it was a rumour of test server that finishing the quest would make the creatures hit less but it was probably that nobody knew how the mechanics of the spawn worked
