And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point.

Boca and Odd Eye finish this trilogy about bullying, hateful comments, and social media respectively. BEcause is another great one going back to their rock horror roots, I guarantee you've never seen an m/v like Sahara. You can hear their voices even better in their happy/relaxing songs and full-on ballads like Airplane, July 7, or Rainy Day. It sounds completely different than the common image of "Dreamcatcher", like a totally different group that also sounds amazing. The Dystopia Trilogy is a social commentary on online bullying, hate speech, persecution, and the idea that social media is a sweet lie covering darker truths.
