The greatest rivalry in sports. It’s gone from one half of this country to the other. It’s been a rivalry since the 1880s. Both teams have been top tier teams for most of their histories and the rivalry has always been competitive and intense even on the rare times that either team isn’t doing well. Both fan bases passionately dislike each other and there’s hundreds of legendary moments and hundreds of great players over the years between both. Lets Go Giants.
I was at a Dodger game in September of 2014 that knocked the Giants out the chance of a division title. Kershaw got the win too. It was an amazing highlight of my life.
I was at that game too. Sucked as a Giants fan. But it’s ok, I remember telling Dodger as we left the stadium that the Giants would be holding the World Series trophy in the end. Turns out I was right!!!
I'm surprised this video package didn't include many of those past Giants-Dodgers late-season showdowns, where one team knocked the other from pennant contention, as was the case on numerous occasions during this rivalry.
@@ckendall67 One that I've been waiting to seen again is the Mike Marshall home run in '87 where he was yelling at the Giants dugout while taking his home run trot for walking the previous batter to get to him. Seen it in some montages but those are now long gone off youtube.

This rivalry has seen both teams taking joy knocking one out of postseason play

No footage of the 62 playoff, Morgan’s HR in 82, or the rout on the last day of the 93 season?
Ya but we get all this BS footage of barroid bonds
Very bad video
Dodgers-Giants > Dodgers-Padres
Dodgers & Padres rivalry is gaining some traction now, but Dodgers & Giants' rivalry has spanned decades.
Historically it’s Dodgers - Giants
It's great hearing Vin Scully. He was the greatest ever.
Vin Scully calling Barry Bonds homer’s is pure gold.
How do you not have the Joe Morgan homer that knocked the Dodgers out in 1982?

You gotta add the brawls and Puig and Bumgarner going at it
brooklyn dodger + ny giants = ny mets.
That Brian Johnson game still stings.
The giants can SMD
The cowgirls can SMD
Yesssss best rivalry. Dodgers owner actually convinced Giants owner to move to California so they could continue the rivalry 🥲
