thank you for these videos... I'm reading the Kabat Zinn's masterpiece but during the "yoga chapters" it's really necessary support from some teachers

Thank you so much for this video. I have severe chronic pain and find any exercise too painful and hard to recover from. This is doable even for me. My 11 year old daughter also suffers from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and is able to do this as well. I hope these MBSR yoga videos stay up forever!

This mild and gentle yoga routine is part of my daily morning practice which includes meditation and pranayama. Nothing too substantial but it does make a difference. Namaste.

    "No pain no pain"
    Open vs tension
"Looking for the sensation that feels delicious"
Lil worried about doing this soon, but looks way gentler than other yoga I've seen and reminders to stop or go slow or modify as we need to really makes it less scary.

MBSR yoga #1&2 is really helping my body become softer and longer. I suffer terribly with fibromyalgia bit this is a form of treatment that is low impact which is good for me :-)

Thanks a lot! I'm an undergrad and sitting all day for courses is really starting to affect my motivation. This is great for circulation and loosening up after sitting.

Hello, I needed a refresher for the gentle yoga exercises from mbsr I did years ago in Vancouver and just found this one. Although I appreciate the effort to put a videeo like this with floor demonstration and explanations, I still found it a bit "too rushed" for people like myself (have shoulder, wrist and knee injuries), and would appreciate A LOT if there were a full video showing the chair alternative - the brief chair appearances of this video were not enough for someone with mobility/other pain issues and the alternate postures couldn't be seen in detail.. I was very lucky years ago to be guided by a physician who dealt with many people with serious health issues, and in this video I often had to "cancel" what the instructor was saying and go back to the instructions my physician gave for people with several health issues. Do you have a video with just the chair instructions for people not just "stiff", but with joint/mobility or pain issues? thnk you!
