Hello, you showing the hip flexors exercises in Verkhoshansky's book and that important range of motion from angle bench , but the last two your exercises is still not the full ROM. Why ?
That's because it's for at home or with limited equipment so it's better than nothing for those that don't have a machine, cable machine, or box set up
Excellent video, thanks. Do you think the hip extension using the multi hip machine may be superior to the weighted step up for training hip extension specifically, given that the ROM is larger?

Yea that's a sign that you probably need to build strength in that position

No because I don’t think open chain won’t transfer as well as closed chain.

Yea all of these exercises will be effective for 40m-400m sprinting. The main difference will be in what you do for your track sessions.
