From what I saw, and because I myself am a 35 year broadcasting veteran, I believe that whoever owned this unit was a radio person him/herself. All those backstage passes, gold records, and signed pictures were a tipoff! By the way, I love your videos...almost as much as I loved watching you tear into those wedding cards!
This guy, old owner, was either a radio DJ, or a tour bus driver. When artists lease a tour bus the driver comes with the lease. Great buy guys.

I was amused by the lack of knowledge on the old rockers but happy that you got such awesome signatures. I believe< right or wrong, that the Kiss stuff is real collectible and I also believe a lot of the old rockers as well. Search well, my friends, because all of that stuff people love. I’m thinking they got married and either they split up or one of them passed away.. it’s crazy that they never opened those cards and it looks like some of the items were from the wedding like the iron and cake pan. One of them must of work for a radio station either in the past or they are currently working there.

I am always amazed at what you all find in lockers. I often wonder why the owner just didn’t sell something in their locker to pay for the locker. I guess I’m just too logical. 😂

I like that y'all give people back their family photos. About 15 years ago I fell on hard times and lost my storage unit. I begged for my family photos and they pretty much told me to kick rocks. They were more comfortable with throwing away something of no value to anyone but my family than to give them back to me and be decent humans. Still breaks my heart when I think about it........

I was thinking the same thing, but unfortunately I think something tragic happened to either the owner of this unit, or someone very close to them.
No one leaves their wedding cards unopened, and then throws them into their storage space under normal circumstances.

And all I could think while he was opening those wedding cards is that they probably could have paid their past due storage with that money. Something had to have happened. Kinda sad.

I couldn’t imagine the grief I’d feel if that was my locker, imagine watching someone else taking everything you ever worked for. I know you guys come by these lockers legitimately, but still... has anyone ever been confrontational with you ,or tried to get their belongings from you?
I don't feel that sorry for them....They know the rules.....if they really cared they'd find a way to pay their storage bill.
I have a storage space myself, and always communicate well with their manangement should I ever get behind a little.
They know I will always pay my fees for it unless I am dead.
Seeing that box of unopened wedding cards, especially with the one from her parents makes me know that something very tragic happened for those to be there. No one throws something like that into a storage space for any reason other than that.

Probably died on their honeymoon, their families had to pack up their home's, couldn't bring their self to look at wedding stuff brought back to Mendy bad memorises, so they just stuck it all in storage thinking they would get too it later, but never could bring their self to do it. So just let it go by stopping payment. Who knows.

I understand this is a business, but the wedding cards were over the top. These were gifts from loved ones and by the amounts given, clearly they weren’t rich. It would have been decent of you to try and find the owner and send them the cards. That was someone’s grandmas money.
