Don't know how to graft yet but I appreciate that you made it look easy. I love that beekeeping ranges from "you don't need that stuff" to "look at my new broodminder". I too enjoy making my own, and buying the best. As always I appreciate the content.

I like the paper clip one. Mine I made out of some stainless wire last year. Grafted a bunch of queens with it. Wouldn't trade it for anything store bought.
Probably grafted close to 200 with it this year. :)

I made my own from nut pickers and crochet needles for years. They work just fine.

In either case you could tape it to a pencil to make it easier to hold
