Really?? I haven’t kept too far up with pvp, but I was really excited to try out frost in arenas once this next season began. Now i’m really excited haha
That’s actually a good suggestion. It could be like mind sear. The only problem would be that you couldn’t channel out of combat then, which is a big benefit for m+. I think that an easy solution to that would be allowing the ability to channel on a friendly player as well. That would honestly be awesome!

hey bro! don’t be unhappy about them honestly it looks bad that they are getting nerfed, but i promise you our class is still incredibly strong right now. It is still one of the best dps classes in shadowlands!

I'm so tired of all the Nerfs. It is depressing. Why don't they just start low and slowly buff up instead of starting out outrageously and nerfing down? Also it appears they are using Pre-patch results to predict Shadowlands outcomes. For example -- Why would you Nerf Lavasurge from a 15% proc rate to 10%? They did it because Ele had a trait that gives 18% lavasurge proc rate and Ele were performing too well in Pre-patch. They nerfed something that has existed for expansions. Yeah, Frost mages needed some nerfs but they have been nerfed every week for the past 3 weeks. It sucks for people following week to week. Okay, I'm done ranting. Great video.
@@hudsonhoch -- Sometimes I know the nerfs affect numbers but don't affect fun, but the nerfs to Ele affect fun. The lavasurge procs are the Ele play around. Brainfreeze procs are the frost mage play around. When the proc rate drops those specs get less fun to play. Nerf damage is understandable, but don't nerf proc rates. That changes gameplay. No one wants to cast 7-10 frostbolts in a row even if its rare. No one wants to cast multiple lightning bolts in a row without instant lavabursts. Dont nerf things that affect gameplay.
Where I can agree the Eye Bite potency conduit needed a little nerf as it made Ice Lance way too good. 25% to 4% was FAR TOO MUCH, that being said Frost Mage is still looking very good
I tend to agree, but two target cleave can be really important in certain scenarios, and arcane is just sooooo bad at that, and it is also bad at spread cleave too, but no mage can really do that sooo...
Going Frost Venthhyr all day if nothing changes obviously. but I'm cool with not playing fire or arcane. I usually stick to one spec anyway but hey that's just me some random guy on the internet. lol.
Well i have a feeling that unless stats scaling gets changed or frost gets buffs everyone is going to be playing fire. Fire is better now at single target cleave and aoe. No point to play frost.
As someone who has been playing the beta alot. I have to disagree with the breakdown dps that were given for Soulbinds. Nadjia's Thrill Seeker ability is good, though it takes up to 80 seconds for it to get going. You can not hold on to Icey Veins for 80 seconds at the start of a fight to get the full 50% haste benifit. It also will only line up correctly with the spec every 3 mins and even then you have to watch and make sure you hit it at the right time. Emeri gives a nice Int buff, though that signature ability is just so blaa. It would be much better if for the duration of any spell you cast cleaves, then we could be talking. I have no idea why the chart did not include Kyrian: Pelagos. Combat Meditation gives a decent supply of Mastery (not our best stat I know) of 350 for 10 seconds every 30 seconds. You also can run through an orb to extend the buff by an additional 3 seconds. Palagos' final ability Let Go of the Past was recently nerfed from 5 stacks for 5% vers to 3 stacks for 3% Vers, though it's an easy buff to maintain when you want to do some big damage. For example, when you get a Brain Freee proc, activate Radiant Spark (1% vers) then use your Flurry (2% Vers) then pump out 2 Ice Lances (3% Vers on the first Ice Lance, the second one will be in that 6 seconds buff window). In this combo, you will have +350 Mastery and +3% Vers for 10 sec/ 6 seconds respectively.

My thing to Night fae change that spell to channel on the target and enemy around that target get Aoe dmg or something diffrent

Tried it, tested it post nerf, its fine doesnt make a big difference.

Just checked the same Mage sim site and they are all doing 1000k+ less dps.
