Under the Umbrella Tree is a Canadian children's television series created by Noreen Young that originally aired on CBC from 1987 to 1993.
The series centers on a quartet of main characters who share a house on Spring Street in a suburb of Ottawa, Ontario. The characters include Holly (a human), Iggy (an iguana), Jacob (a blue jay), and Gloria (a gopher). The show's title is derived from the fact that the characters live together in a home featuring a prominent indoor umbrella tree.

I cant tell you how much fun that was to watch, i grew up a child in Ottawa watching the show . I just found your channel here, and im a kid again watching these interviews! Those years were full of magic and under the umbrella tree was a part of that😀💓💓

I've been catching up, watching all your interviews.. i still need to leave a few comments under them because the shows were excellent. Anyways, thinking of season 2... maybe The Polka-dot Door ?, OR, I know you can't interview Mr. Dress up , but what about the puppeteers for Casey & Finnigan? Or Fraggle Rock?

OMG U GOT ALL OF THEM THERE!!! Even Holly!!! When I was 5 years old and loved the show, I begged my parents to name my little sibling Holly and they said they would’ve if he’d been a girl lol… just my luck, thanks bro!!

If you cannot find an episode, good chances it is not available anymore.
